"When we go back to New York tomorrow, you're coming with us."
"Why the fu-"
"Language." Steve reminded you.
You rolled your eyes, "Why would I do that?"
"Because I'm your father and I said so." Tony tried.
"So what you're saying is that you have no good reason." You sassed.
"Go to your room and pack."
Trying not to grind your teeth in to dust, "Yes sir."
You packed what you deemed necessary for the next few weeks. In the night when you were supposed to be asleep, you weren't. It was impossible, there were too many ways everything could go to shit. You left the house and climbed onto the roof, using the special access adjustments. Sleep didn't come to you even as you watched the sun rise.

The plane ride was boring and you zoned out for most of it.
Entering the Avengers building, you waited for rest of the Avengers. They finally caught up and you were showed to a guest room.
"Ms. Y/n, Mr.Stark said come out for dinner." JARVIS spoke into the room.
"Hmm, let's see, he wants to have a meal together. Let me give him the same response I got from him: Yeah no." You were left alone for rest of the night.

"Hey y/n, you in there?" You heard Natasha's raspy voice early in the morning, a week after you had first arrived.
"No, I managed to fool all of you with a life sized decoy."
You received no response, instead the door opened. "What are you doing on the floor?"
"Sitting," You didn't mean to sound sarcastic but how else were you to respond.
"I see. Anyways, it's early so you won't see anyone else so I was wondering if you wanted to train with me for a little while."
You didn't want to train, you wanted to tell her to piss off but you knew you would need her support if your plan was to work. You quickly changed and followed her down to the training floor.
"Okay, we'll start with some basics."
Natasha punched and you dodged then countered. You continued this cycle for a while before it became more advanced.
After sparring for almost 2 hours, you sat down for a water break.
"Even though we were doing the easy stuff, it's like you knew what I was about to do before I did it." Natasha sounded suspicious.
You shrugged, "I don't know, I just watched you."
Natasha hummed in thought. "So you studied my movements and were able to predict my patterns?"
"Yeah, I guess."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Thanks for today, I would prefer if you didn't tell anyone though."
"That you have the ability to come out of your room?" Natasha smirked playfully.
"It's not my room and well yeah." You admitted sheepishly.
"Sure whatever you want. I also wanted to let you know that Tony isn't here from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M., so if you wanted you could come hang out with us without-"
"It's not about him but thank you."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After that morning with Natasha, you had begun to come out of the guest room more often but only during those specific times.
One day, you were having dinner when Tony came back early. You paused seeing him, then resumed eating. He came and sat down next to you, "We should talk."
You raised your eyebrows, "You want to have a face to face conversation? I'm honored."
He placed the files he had found earlier on the table for you to examine. You looked at them blankly. "Do you know anything about these paper?"
"Well yeah, I'm kind of the one who arranged them?" You were unbothered when it came to Tony as usual.
Tony's voice was harsh, "So you want to what? Actually emancipate yourself from me?"
Your eyebrows furrowed, Tony actually sounded like he cared. "I don't know why it matter to you. Nothing will change, it'll just be easier for college applications for me."
"You are 13 years old, this is ridiculous." He scoffed.
"That's great because I'm 14, remember you called? Oh, that's right, I called and you sent me to voicemail."
"I'm sorry I was busy, I'll buy you a new phone."
"You don't get it, me and you share nothing but blood. We have no relationship of any kind. You're just another random man."
"Listen, I tried, I am trying. I protected you from the media and I sent you to boarding school because I knew I would mess you up because that's what I do!"
"Well guess what Tony, you did anyway. I raised myself for two years and that boarding school absolutely loved using physical measures, after that there was no contact from you. So I picked myself up and decided to stop waiting around for you when I realized that idealistic image of you I had built up in my hopes and dreams wasn't real."
Your eyes were watering a bit from the 7 years of emotion you had scratched at. Tony's voice sounded rough, "I was only ever trying to do what I thought would be best for you."
You shook your head, your voice hardening, "You don't even know me. You were only doing what was best for you. Two years from now, I'll be out of your legal paperwork for good. Be happy because that's all I ever was to you."
You left the room, surprised by how you had let your emotions get the best of you. Logic was what made sense, that and the mechanisms of how people were supposed to worked.

A/n: Tbh I was really in the mood for a Natxreader but then I realized I had this to write, soooo a two in one
ALSO YOU ARE KIND OF A PHYSIOLOGICAL GENIUS LIKE YOU CAN NOTICE AND OBSERVE THINGS VERY WELL AND IN TURN KNOW WHAT THE PERSON WILL DO (like years of spy training without the training)
