"Jungkook-ah, I'm on my way. I brought Ji-ah's gift.See you!"
After sending a reply to Taehyung, Jungkook slid his phone back into his pocket. He ran his tongue inside his cheek as he waited for the lift to arrive on the ground floor.
"The audacity of that girl." Jungkook scoffed in a mocking tone when he thought of meeting the girl who tricked him last night. He got pissed off when he got a call from Mr. Yang that the woman wanted to meet him to return something. He rolled his eyes and let out a deep sigh thinking of what does she want this time?
Once the lift dinged, he walked out and went directly to the lobby where she was waiting.
When Sana finally caught a glimpse of him, she started to swallow her saliva. He has this visibly cold look in his eyes as he walked closer to her that made her knees tremble in fear.
"What do you want?" Jungkook started, an irritated look painted on his face.
Sana was completely speechless. The words she prepared earlier are now completely wiped out on her head. He is far from someone she met last night.
"Are you just gonna stare at me the whole time?" Jungkook continued with hands in his pockets.
Sana snapped back to her senses and gave the jacket to him. "I-I just want to return this." She can't help but stutter.
Jungkook raised his eyebrows and stared at the item in her hand. He then reached and was about to take it. But his eyebrows furrowed, he tugged his jacket to grab it from her hands but Sana held it back-she can't afford to give the jacket back until she will tell him what she wanted.
"Before I give this to you, can you help me first please?" Sana said full of anxiousness on her face.
Jungkook's forehead crumpled intensely. He then rolled his eyes at the back of his head, asking himself what kind of trick is she going to perform now.
"Last night after you helped me out of the bar I was about to go back to my hotel but I decided to pass by at the convenience store. And then this morning, I realized I lost my wallet. And I have a feeling someone stole it from me last night." Sana tried her best to explain her situation.
Jungkook, on the other hand, bit the cheek inside his mouth with a blank expression. "So?"
Sana inhaled a heavy breath, "Please help me. That's the only money I have for this trip. I still have 5 more days before going home and I don't have a place to stay and food to eat. I badly need money now and I promise I'll pay you once I get back to Seoul."
