Friday eventually rounded around the corner and Camila still hadn't told Lauren about this party. Dinah didn't understand the need to because what could Camila possibly do that Lauren needed to somehow be there?
"I'm not even suppose to being leaving the house Dinah." She groaned, frustration taking over. She at least wished for the younger woman to help.
Plopping out her lollipop, "Mila, my brother gave up on looking for you. you'll be fine. Eee! I can't wait! This is gonna be fun I promise!" Dinah scurried towards the closet of Lauren's.
She unfortunately had training all week, but today would of been the last day, but instead of Camila spending time with her she's out partying with a crazy Dinah and a couple, oh I don't know? Hundreds of people. This wasn't what she wanted.
"What do they even do at college parties that are so exciting and a must go? Is there like intense musical chairs?" Before Dinah could through her regular 'wtf face' she corrected herself, "Don't answer that, I was joking I promise." Maybe she could start to see what was making her lame.
"I think intense musical chairs sounds fun, but no that's not why they're exciting and a must go. You see, when your all grow up out of you high school phase, there are others who are- well some who are also all grown up. It's just not the same as high school ones. No restrictions, more booze. And hot ass guys and I mean hot. I'm surprise to see that much up here in New York." She picked a casual denim dress measuring it before continuing, "It's overall just fun. College is hard, but parties make it a way to connect with others and find some new friends....or boyfriends...or someone's mother? Yeah anyways, this dress would look perfect for you. Not too much, but not a snob. Just casual."
Camila picked up the dress smiling at it, "Sometimes I can't imagine Lauren wearing stuff like this because she wears jeans all the time. But she has a lot of fancy dresses in here." Camila eyed the walk in closet
"Maybe it's from the one night stand's and they leave in her clothes." Dinah joked pushing Camila, "I'm joking! Well actually...we don't know."
She gave a scold, "Lauren doesn't do that." Grabbing her phone, "It's 8:48 and she's not here yet. What time does this thing start?"
"Ummm, let's see. Oh wait- Mila college parties don't have specific times they start. I mean they say it on the flyer but we all know that foolish. So we can leave now because it's probably packed. Go get ready." Dinah swiveled her foot walking out to go change into her own clothes.
"I didn't get to see Lauren yet." Camila mumbled amongst herself.
Though she didn't see her yet she quit her pouting and got ready. This better be good.

"This was awesome Lauren." Lucy took a hold of her hand as they walked the streets of New York. At night. Even after Lucy's little out-of-box stepping, Lauren had her another chance. She missed them as friends. It was easy to sweep under the carpet. It's not like she hasn't done it before. "Yeah, this was fun. New York is amazing- well sometimes, during the winter." She slowly took her hands of the grasp.
"Why'd you let go?" Lucy confused.
"I- Luce, I kinda have-"
"Lauren look!" She directed her attention at a on foot police chase, "I think he's running away from them."
The thought of telling Lucy she had a girlfriend completely flew off her mind, attention diverting to the chase. "Yeah your right." Lauren took off running. The police that were involved seem to be a little out of fit, helping them out.
Holy shit this man was fast! Lauren sped up though not letting this man beat her. "Hey! Stop running!" He thankfully tripped, gracefully letting Lauren capture him. She instinctively went to grab her handcuffs but technically she wasn't on shift. "Shit." Either way, she got her control on him, pulling of his hood to take a better look at him.
