"And we are all set! The baby is doing just fine. We don't quite know what the gender is though." The doctor smiled taking of her gloves jotting down some necessary information.
Melissa was glad to hear that considering the fact she hasn't been able to eat enough meals to even feed herself. She eventually found an apartment that was shared amongst 2 other people. It was easy to maintain, while splitting the money. She got a job at Macy's around the Bronx area. It wasn't the safest place Melissa and her baby to be but it was definitely cheaper. tidying up her things, "Alright thank you. What week are we again?"
"You are currently on week 13 but almost week 14. So almost 3 months pregnant! Ah! that must be so excited right?" The kind woman smiled.
Though it was the complete opposite she still agreed from the kindest of her heart. "Yeah... it sure is." This was so stressful. Christmas was around the corner and she still hadn't told Lauren that this baby belonged to her. She was still very worried of her reaction. "Alright, I'm gonna head on out. I don't think I'll be able to come to next week's check-up considering it's Christmas break, and I have lots of shifts to do." Melissa tossed her handbag over her shoulder explaining her situation. "Thank you so much."
She drove off straight to Macy's even though she was more than exhausted and in pain but the money was needed.
"Come open the door Lucy Goosy!" Nathan taunted from her porch.
Rolling her eyes, she got up to unlock the door with a 34 year old man in a santa's elf costume that looked like it was suppose to fit a teenager. "Merry Christmas ya flithy animal." He mimicked in a raspy tone.
"Nathan, Christmas is next week and please for the love of god, explain to me why your wearing a leotard and it's like what? 20 degrees outside?"
"Hey! This?" He emphasized patting himself. "Is not a leotard. It's a elf suit that I had to wear. I see that it may be a 'little' bit smaller, but that's not my fault that amazon wasn't precise with the sizes. In case you don't know, I have kids and they wouldn't shut it unless I wore this dumb thing. Now let me in, i'm shivering out here!" He finishes rubbing his shoulders to maintain some sort of heat.
"Come in." Lucy shook her head opening the door wider for his appearance. "Did you bring the footage? And the computer?"
"Do I look stupid? Of course I brought it. Now Scoochy scooch and give me a blanket, I'm freezing!" Nathan took his seat on Lucy's leather couch. "Gosh it feels like you live in a ice cooler why is it so cold?" He complained grabbing the blanket Lucy has fetched for him.
"You just came from- Nevermind. Just open up the thing!" The Columbian pushed.
"Okay, now I've been keeping some facts that we can use against Lauren. Just last month on our Miami stakeout I had caught her tangoing on another female from hooters, who from documents, is 17 years old. Consider a minor. Don't ask me why a seventeen year old was allowed to work at the whore house. Not only that, but it's like cheating so that adds onto her and Camilla's fight." He pointed on his screen.
"It's pronounced Camila. Aren't you Spaniard or something? How do you not know that?" Even though they were against them, it was annoying that he didn't at least pronounced it correctly. "Gringo." Lucy muttered under her breath.
"That's my dad side and i'm not familiar with that. Plus I don't give two fucks. Moving on, Lauren's computer files still had the sex tape- which first of all, I have no clue on why you would even make one at 16 and 17 years old but that's besides the point. It had the deleted viewings in the trash but she must of forgotten to completely deleted it, so it was just sitting there, collecting dust. If we get more and more evidence she can get locked up in jail for the possession of child/ pubescent teen pornography. I was also lucky to stumble upon quite a handful of... exposed photos of you...which I'm not even gonna start on how horrible that is. You were 16 What were you thinking?"
