"Here's a compiled list of all the offers each of you received," Aizawa walks in front of my desk, handing me a large stack of papers before moving onto the next row.
I shuffle through and pull out the top few that belong to me before handing them back to Bakugo. As he grabs the stack from my hand, I turn in my chair to face him. I watch as he picks out his stack of papers before passing them along to the next person. His eyes scan across the words on the paper until he catches my stare.
"What, Birdgirl?" He grumbles, looking up at me through his eyelashes.
"Did you happen to like the Hero name I chose?" I smile innocently at him, resting my arm on his desk.
"Acanthis? Why should I care what hero name you chose? It's not as great as King Explosion Murder." He scoffs, going back to scanning his papers.
I quickly tap the end of his nose and retract my hand before he can explode it, "That is where you are wrong, Katsuki," He frowns, furrowing his brows at me, and I chuckle, "Well, there are very few things better than a King, but a Goddess just happens to be one of them. I chose my hero name after the Greek Goddess of Birds, Acanthis. Quite fitting for me, don't you think?"
"Whatever. Now you're just Goddess Birdgirl." Katsuki smirks, leaning forward a little.
I lean in closer, matching his smirk, "So Katsuki thinks I'm a Goddess? My heart is warmed." A humored sigh escapes my lips as I watch the pink tint dust his cheeks, "You are much too sweet, King Explosion Murder."
I hear his chair scrape against the ground as I turn back in my chair, focusing on my papers. Scanning down the page, I look for Hawks agency and hear tiny pops going off behind me. I flip the page, and Katsuki stomps around my desk, standing directly in front of me.
I hum, still staring at the stack of papers in my hand, "Is there anything I can help you with, Katsuki?"
"I'll kill you, Birdgirl," He seethes, slamming his palm on my desk.
I calmly set down the stack of my offers on the table, "You still haven't denied that you think I'm as magnificent as a Goddess. It's good to know you think so highly of me."
"I never said that, you idiot! Quit putting words in my mouth!" His voice raises as his anger begins to grow.
"Bakugo and Takami cut it out," Aizawa chimes in, annoyed with the loud blonde and me. He turns following Midnight out of the class, "Be sure to turn in your choices before the weekend. You're dismissed."
I swiftly stand up from my desk, throwing my backpack over my shoulder, "Alright, let's go, Sparky."
"I'm not following a Birdgirl like you," Katsuki grumbles as he goes back to his desk to pick up his bag.
"Okay, I guess you don't want to see who got an offer from the highest-ranked Pro." I wave him off over my shoulder, walking to the exit, "Later, Katsuki."
I quietly walk the halls by myself to my locker while scanning through the many offers. I hear the familiar sound of stomping footsteps approaching my locker. I open my locker, and a piece of paper is slammed on the closed locker next to mine where I can see it.
"Best Jeanist, beat that Birdgirl." Katsuki scoffs in an arrogant manner.
I close my locker after grabbing what I need and turn to the boy next to me, "Give me a second. I haven't finished looking at all my offers."
I hear a cocky chuckle come from Bakugo, "I bet you didn't even get a Top Ten ranked Hero."
My eyes continue to scan through the list quickly. As I get through more pages and closer to the end, I grow both nervous and angry. I'm on the last page, and my eyes scan through carefully, but I suck in a harsh breath when I reach the last offer.
