"Good morning class. Today we will begin the training camp to increase your strength. Our goal is to increase your skills exponentially so that each of you earns a provisional license. This will allow you to face the dangers that continue to fester in the darkness. Proceed carefully. Look alive, Bakugo," Aizawa turns his attention to the bored blonde next to me and tosses a baseball his way. Once Katsuki catches the ball and stares at it in his palm Aizawa continues, "Try throwing that for me."
Katsuki speaks as he keeps his eyes glued to the ball in his hand, "Yeah, sure. Like in the fitness test."
Aizawa nods, "That's right. When you first started school, your record was 705.2 meters. Let's see if you've improved."
"Oh, I get it! We're checking our progress," Mina squeals in excitement of knowing why Aizawa is making Katsuki throw again.
Sero jumps in, adding to Mina, "A lot has happened in the last three months. Maybe he can throw it a whole mile now!"
The enthusiastic redhead cheers for his friend, "C'mon, get it, Bakugo!"
Katsuki sports a confident smirk on his face as he stretches for the throw. He mumbles towards us before throwing, "I've got this. No one blink." Then he begins to rear back his arm in preparation for a strong toss. I mumble quietly to myself, "I bet he's gonna choke."
After a furious yell from Katsuki and a powerful gust of wind, the class watches the ball soar through the air. Everyone waits patiently looking towards Aizawa in anticipation to figure out the distance. "That was 709.6 meters," Aizawa speaks up, shocking the class, especially the blonde who just threw the ball.
I hold back my laughter after hearing the distance and seeing the blonde's shocked facial expression. Sero's comment about it being disappointing doesn't help any and my laughter grows louder gaining Katsuki's attention. He sends me a snarl before we look at Aizawa as he speaks.
"You've had a single semester at UA, and due to your various experiences, all of you have definitely improved. But those improvements have mostly been limited to mental prowess and technical skill. With a slight increase in stamina thrown in along the way. Your Quirks really haven't grown that much stronger. Not on a fundamental level. That is why now we're going to focus on improving your powers," My eyes widen as I see a sinister smirk stretch on Aizawa's face before he continues, "This'll be so hard, you'll feel like you're dying. Let's hope you all survive."

I hover above the field that we are training in observing all my classmates. Everyone is pushing themselves to the limits in unique ways that will help to enhance their quirks. I watch as Katsuki continuously shoots up large explosions in the sky, Shoto in a tub switching from ice to fire repeatedly and Iida racing around the vast forest and hills.
I have been keeping myself suspended in the air while trying to heat up my wings. Having wings that catch on fire you would think that they are fireproof no matter the temperature, but that is not the case. My feathers are currently fragile from not being trained to endure extreme heat since as of now my flames aren't very hot. Aizawa instructed me to gradually increase the temperature of my flames when the stinging began to dissipate.
I feel ignorant about my own quirk that I didn't even think about how much heat my feathers could take. The temperature of my flames compared to the heat waves I can feel floating my way from Shoto and Katsuki is cold in comparison. My flames were never really something I viewed as very helpful minus a few occasions.
I glance at the ground a few meters below me to see a scarce pile of feathers. Not many have floated to the dirt below me, indicating that I need to increase my temperature. I whip the back of my hand across my forehead attempting to clean it of the layer of sweat. The ground has appeared to slightly grow closer since I've been training, which I have no clue how long that has been.
