It was everyone's first day back to school since the internship. I walked through the same halls of UA just like every other day towards my classroom. Approaching the classroom door, I could hear laughter and then the yelling of a certain angry blonde.
Sliding open the door, I see the back of Katsuki, but he doesn't look right. His hair isn't the normal explosive mess. It's slicked down in a way I have never seen. Sero and Denki are standing in front of him, trying and failing at holding in their laughter.
"You clean up pretty nice, Katsuki~" I sing, tapping him on the shoulder as he walks by. Once I've brushed past him, I glance back to see his cheeks tinted, a very subtle pink, and chuckle to myself.
I take my seat and observe the ticking time bomb being laughed at. It only took a few more comments until Katsuki had an outburst and his hair poofed up back to its original style. Laughter flowed from my throat at the scene, and the blonde, now with normal hair, stomped his way to his desk behind me.
As he slid into his chair, my laughter died down, and I swiveled around in my seat to face him. "I like the spikey mess better anyways."
"It was those three and Takami," Kaninari spoke, pointing at Iida, Midoriya, and Shoto, who were all huddling around a desk before gesturing in my direction.
"Oh Yeah! The Hero Killer!" Sero spoke up, sounding excited.
"Glad you guys made it back alive. Seriously." Kirishima chimed in from next to Sero, sounding relieved. I stared at the redhead to see his expression was downcast. He must have genuinely worried about us.
"You were lucky Endeavor showed up and saved you guys," Someone else spoke up as a crowd started to surround the other three towards the back of the classroom.
I rolled my eyes and turned back around in my seat to face the board at the front of the class. 'Endeavor contributed even less than me in that fight. He did absolutely nothing.' I grumbled to myself, pouting like a little kid even though I knew it was better that people believed we didn't have that big part in the capturing.
'What?!' My head rang as a loud echo of a voice ran through my thoughts. I already knew exactly who it was and whipped my head back towards him to scold him.
'Quit being creepy and reading my thoughts without permission, Sparkles.' I narrowed my eyes at him while lightly smacking my fist on his desk to go unnoticed by our classmates.
'Sparkles?! What the hell-' Katsuki's booming voice stopped in a second once he realized he wasn't getting the answer he wanted. 'Tell me what the hell you mean by Endeavor wasn't the one to stop the Hero, Killer?'
I heard Iida in the background yelling that class was about to begin and let out a sigh of relief. I don't have a problem telling Katsuki. I just don't think he would be quiet enough without letting anyone else in class know.
'I'll tell you outside of class. It would be easier anyways.' I gave him a small smile to assure him that I wasn't lying and moved around to face back towards the front of the class.

All of Class 1-A, minus those competing right now, is standing under a large screen, ready to watch the race. All Might came to class this morning and dragged us out to Field Gamma to have a rescue race. He explained that he would be out in the field. At the same time, everyone competing in the group of five was scattered across different locations. From there, the five students must race to All Might's location, and the first there is the winner of the rescue mission.
I was sitting on the ground next to Jirou, watching the screen show the first five participants. In the first group were Midoriya, Iida, Mina, Sero, and Ojiro. In my head, I had a debate on who I think would win, but honestly couldn't come to any conclusion. Before, I would have for sure said Sero, especially in the factory terrain. Still, I know now that my classmates will end up surprising me.
