I shut off my phone and sigh, setting it on the table top and returning to eating my cereal.
It's already ten in the morning, and yet I fell asleep at at 5:30.
That's (no joke) around sixteen hours of sleep.
I have a feeling I won't get the best rest tonight.
I dip my spoon into the breakfast and scoop some into my mouth as Maya walks into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes.
"You fell asleep early last night," she quietly chuckles and joins me at the table.
I nod my head in response and tuck a frizzy strand of hair behind my ear.
The girl lightly sighs and it's quiet for a minute.
