Chapter Twenty One~
Disclaimer: Mentioning of drugs and alcohol
The second Louis and I entered the house, my grip on his hand tightened by the chaos. Like every other of these shitty parties, there was loud music, crazy people, and the smell of some sort of beer.
"Louis!" I hear a yell over all the noise and sure enough, Will was talking with some friends by a clock on the wall before he walked over. I don't even know who's house this is.
"Will," Louis sighed in relief and let go of my hand for a second when Will grabbed him by the hand and patted his back.
"How've you been man?" He asks with a gentle smile.Louis shrugs and looks down at me, re-latching our hands.
"I've been good," he smiles back up at Will and I feel his thumb gently rub my hand."Good," he grins back at him before looking to me.
"Holy shit y/n we haven't talked in forever!" He sighs a little and walks to me, giving me a little side hug. I notice his eyes peek at me and Louis' hands and then he looks back up to him and smirks."Will!" Another voice in the distance calls him back. I look to see his friends waving him over impatiently.
"Ugh sorry you guys, I'm being summoned," he jokes and throws us both a look before dashing back to his friends.
I feel my heart rate slow down a little, calming down a bit after talking to Will."Now where to begin," Louis looks down to me with a wink.
"Don't look at me, your the party-er here," I laugh a little and tap my heel on the floor.
He chuckles a little and licks his lips while holding his eyes on mine. My stomach flutters a bit and I quickly look down.
"Right then," he squeezes my hand, "follow me."
~
Okay this is bad. Like really bad. I feel my hands shaking but I'm trying to hard to hold still so he can enjoy the party.
Overall it's been a lot of talking with people, dancing to music, and acting all happy and in love (especially when Clara was around).Speaking of her, I've been getting stares all night. She and I would make eye contact and I'd quickly look away, but look back to make sure she was done staring.
And she wasn't.
So I guess you could say that didn't help my nerves.
Plus every time I got antsy I started worrying that people were judging me. It's just how my brain works."But yeah other than that it's been a pretty boring break," Louis shrugs to a couple friends of his who he's been in conversation with for a few minutes now.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see two people approaching beside one of Louis' friends.
One short blondie, and one tall brunette.
"Hey y/n," she throws me a fake smile and I bite hard onto my lip, "how are you girl? It's been a couple days since I've seen you!"
Louis' friends all quiet down, followed by him as we all turn our heads to the two of them.
"Oh, hey Louis," she quiets down a bit and stares into his eyes. Not with a fake smile. But more of a gentle one. A kind one.
