Peter swung back to the fight while Agent Johnson took a motorcycle he had borrowed from the police. He saw the smoke from blocks away. That meant Emma was at least still fighting. He got to the scene before the other boy. For a moment Peter stopped on the roof of the building next to the fight to catch his breath when he saw the flames disappear and the white line that reached for the ice encased men. He had no longer tentacles for arms.

He couldn't see Emma from his spot but he walked towards the edge of the roof. She had done it and all on her own it seemed, since the police had moved back and abandoned some of their cars. Only then did he see Emma fall to the ground. Her legs were covered in ice crystals and her hair displayed the colors of fire and ice. One of the police officers was rushing forwards but Peter was faster. He rushed down and landed right next to Emma. He reached out but he felt the heat even before he touched her arm.

The officer stood behind him. "Spider-Man-" He was interrupted by the vigilante.

"Make sure you arrest everyone first. She's breathing, she's fine. Get the bad guys first."

The officer stayed for a moment before his coworkers rushed forward and arrested every single one of the men in black. The ones in webs were easier to take away than the ones that were in blocks of ice.

Sam had joined Peter in front of Emma. The police had let him through since he was a Shield Agent. He had tried to reach out but Peter had stopped him. "I thought you guys were like spies or something. Her body's too hot, you would burn your hands." Sam had pulled out his phone and called Shield. He also helped the police with the arrests.

Suddenly Emma took in a sharp breath as she came to. Her vision was still a bit blurry as her body finally balanced the different temperatures. Slowly she sat up on the hard asphalt and pushed her hair out of her face. The ice crystals on her legs melted away and the numb feeling with them. She waited a moment before she stood up completely. Only then did she notice Peter. He was standing beside her watching as the policemen took away the unconscious men in black.

"Yay. You got here. Was about time." A tired chuckle escaped her as Peter jumped a little as she patted his shoulder.

"You're awake! You were amazing! I had no clue you could do both at once!"

Emma sighed at his childlike excitement. "Me too. No need to be so loud." She turned away from the police and walked towards the next alley. Peter followed her. She started to climb up the fire escape to get to the roof and away from the already approaching reporters.

"What are you doing?"

"You know I would call Happy to pick us up or even my dad or Steve. But my phone is buried under the debris that was the ceiling of our school." She sat down on the edge and looked at Peter. The comm channel the three teenagers had during the fight was no longer active. Peter understood. He held his hand out for Emma to take.

Peter swung through New York while giving Emma a piggyback ride. They passed screens filled with pictures from the battle they had fought minutes ago. But they didn't once stop to look at them.

As they reached the outskirts of the city Peter stopped and put Emma down on the roof. She was exhausted but still stayed awake. They weren't out of the city yet and their faces were on nearly every screen in the city.

"I don't have my phone on me, either. Do you have anyone's number? We could borrow the phone of a civilian…"

Just as Emma wanted to answer she heard a signal in her earphones. "Systems back online." A robotic voice made room for Friday's sassy comments. "I believe you overheated quite literally."

"Fri!"

Peter was already looking for a nice looking civilian down on the street but he whipped his head around to look at Emma. "Friday?" He walked over to her. "You have Friday in your suit?"
