"I realised, due to the tournament we haven't actually gone a date."
"Oh yeah, is that your way of asking me on a date?"
"Yes and it starts now! Well in ten minutes. Go change into something warmer because we are going to Hogsmead." In a hurry she rushed up to Pansy's door, knocking repeatedly probably annoying the rest of the students.
A smile on Ariana's face was visible as she couldn't wait to relax for a day and not stress over studies, the tournament and her father.
"Okay I'm coming!"
"Oh Ariana, what's up?"
"I have a date."
"You haven't had one?"
"No! So what should I wear? I only have ten minutes."
"Right, go to your room quickly."
The two girls rushed to Ariana's room, accidentally knocking over a first year in the process. They spent most of their time digging through her trunks piling clothes in the corner which they deemed a 'no's'. Ariana and Pansy settled on a knee length dress with her green coat to keep her warm.
"How are you having your hair?"
"I was going to have it like this."
"Well, okay you don't have time anyways now go go go!"
Draco was pacing around the common room, annoying some third years until he glared towards their direction and they scurried away.
"Now I expect you kids to be back in time for dinner." Pansy jokingly said causing Draco to go red.
It was a quite trip with comfortable silence as Ariana wondered what the date would entail.
"Okay, so I may have asked for Blaise's help because." Draco covered Ariana's eyes while walking and trying not to make them both trip over.
Ariana saw a perfectly layer out picnic blanket with pillows and a little tray in the middle with a variety of cakes spread on.
"Oh Dray, I love it." She kissed Draco's cheek and rushed to sit down.
"So I needed Blaise's help as I couldn't sneak off and come back without you wondering."
"It's perfect."
"You look really pretty today."
"Thank you."
"Not that you don't look pretty everyday it's just today especially um. Do you want a slice of Victoria sponge?"
"I would love to."
"Dray, I need to tell you something."
"Yeah." He replied, cake making it hard to talk clear.
"My dad has um, been visiting in my dreams." Silence. "It's true I swear."
"Is he going to kill me?"
"What?"
"Is he going to kill me? Knowing we're dating?"
"No I wouldn't let him, you have a bigger chance of Snape killing you." Draco nervously laughed, taking a sip of his water.
"You make me happy. That's all that matters to me."
Over the two hours they spent there, they talked about anything and everything. From Draco saying why Quidditch should be a compulsory class to Ariana explaining muggle sports.
"We should probably start heading back."
"Can't we just stay for a few more minutes?" Draco couldn't deny he wished they could stay there forever. Sadly all good things must end. On their way back however they were stopped by the 'golden trio' and Ron charging towards them.
"What do you want Weasley?"
"Just wanted to let you know that we're onto you!"
"What do you mean?" Ariana questioned.
"Ronald stop it, leave it."
"Harry told us about something he saw when Dumbledore showed him something."
~ what did dumbledore show him? it's no longer a secret he thinks he could use her against her father. anyways may be a double update but have a good day and peace out
