2nd person ::
"today, i meant this boy named harry, he's a very nice person and was the first person who approached me and dre once arriving here in china" you read the words you've written so far in your notebook.
you hear some commotion from afar as you lift your head up to see a circle of kids watching something. you looked around the park, not seeing dre anywhere, you then look back at the crowd seeing dre on the floor.
"dre!" you yell, dropping all your stuff, running to the area. you pushed past the kids managing to punch the boy off of dre who drops on the floor. the boy gets back on his feet and looking at you with a serious expression. he charges at you, in which you duck before he could reach you. you block his attacks while managing to land a few punches and kicks before he ordered his gang to move away.
"dre.." you squat beside him. the girl then squats beside you, "he was injured before you came. i'm glad you came on time before further damage was done" she places a hand on your shoulder "thank you" she whispers. you nod, looking at dre who was covering his right eye. "are you okay..?" the girl says, the crowd soon lessens by the minutes until it was just you, the girl beside you and dre.
"leave me alone." you hear him say. "dre i-" "leave me alone!" he raises his voice, you get up walking towards the tree where you left your belongings. "wait!" the girl stops you. you turn around "huh?". "i'm meiying" she gives you a friendly smile, reaching out a hand as you shake it.
"i'm y/n, and thanks for trying to help dre." "dre?" she questions. "him." you point to dre who was in a sitting position. she looks back at you, "i'm his cousin, and we moved here a few hours ago." she nods, "well, welcome to beijing. i'm a bit embarrassed that this was something you had to face once arriving.. i'm sorry" she bows, walking past you.
