His Hope

Of all the days, Hope was stuck in bed with a cold. She woke up feeling terrible and she was looking forward to the field trip, but now, she can't go. Charlie walked in with Bella to see Hope pale looking. "Hope, I think you need to stay home." He said as she grabbed her notebook.

No, I have to go. She wrote, but sneezed.

"You're staying home and that's final."

Hope sighed as she laid back down as she started coughing real bad. Charlie asked over and checked her temperature to see she had a fever. Hope dozed back off making Charlie look at Belle. "Get to school."

Bella nodded as she left. Charlie sighed as she walked out. He looked back one last time at Hope before he left.

Emmett got the call from Jasper stating that Hope was sick and in bed. When he arrived, she was sound asleep still. Hope turned making Emmett sneak downstairs to get her some food. He knew that she would be waking up soon and he hoped that today he could spend more time with her, but the idea of her being sick had made him change his mind.

Hope woke up and decided to get out of bed to get her something to eat. When she walked downstairs, she stopped seeing Emmett paying for a pizza. She smiled as she walked downstairs. Emmett turned as he shut the door to see her. "Hey." He said as she walked over and kissed him. "I thought I'll come and stay with you since you were sick."

Hope found a piece of paper. Thank you.

"I was hoping to have you come over so the two of us could spend time together, but..." Hope cut him off with a peck. "I think staying here with my sick mate is better." Emmett said making Hope smile.

They walked towards the kitchen so Hope could eat. Emmett started telling her that Esme would like for her to come over and see her. Hope smiled as she was glad they all liked her. Emmett looked at her and smiled as he had this talk with Ian, he will give Hope Swan time and when she's ready to speak, he'll be right there to hear her.

The next day, Hope was in a better mood and went to school. Bella saw her sister sitting with Emmett and the other Cullens. "Are you coming by?" Ian asked.

Hope shrugged. "Man, her cold is still there, but its up to her."

Hope smiled as she stood up to get her an apple. Emmett looked to see Bella walking over and had a bad feeling as Bella was invited to the beach at La Push. "Hope." She looked at her sister and smiled. "Jessica is wondering if you want to go to La Push."

"Rosalie and Alice want to take her dress shopping." Hope jumped and turned to look at Edward. "Sorry."

She stuck her tongue out at him as she walked away. Bella smiled as she was glad that the Cullens were taking their time with Hope, but she knew one thing. Hope was falling more and more in love with Emmett Cullen.
