Olivia walked out the front door of Dan's house, looking back through the screen door to see Dan with a wide smile and two thumbs-up.

"You got this Liv! Get me my 50 bucks!"

Minnie was the one pacing now. She had unintentionally lost track of time when she had been unpacking her room. She couldn't help it, she found so many momentums packed deep in the boxes, every time she found one she took at least 10 minutes to stare at it and reminisce its backstory.

It was three minutes ago when she had realized she hadn't seen Olivia since they were setting up the couch.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck," The girl muttered low in her room but the thoughts were loud in her head.

Did coming out make things awkward? They hadn't spoken about it since last night.

Does Olivia know how she feels about her? Is she uncomfortable with her now that she knows there's a possibility of feelings between them? If there are feelings, are they one-sided? Are they... mutual?

Minnie doesn't know much... 'much' being the state of her love life, but she did know one thing.

She needed to find Olivia. They needed to talk and it doesn't matter if they fight or even yell, she had to find Olivia.

Her decision had been made as she was knocking on Olivia's bedroom door.

No answer.

She knocks again, "Liv? It's me, I wanna talk to you," the result staying the same.

With a furrow of her eyebrows, she chose to open the door.

"Ok, I'm coming in," Minnie warned before turning the knob and pushing the door open.

Until the door didn't open. It opened maybe a centimeter before something in front of it kept it from opening any farther.

"What the fuck," Minnie muttered under her breath. After a few more pushes, one was a bit harsh, a product of her growing frustration.

Still, no budging. She concluded it was impossible for her to get it to open wider than a centimeter distance.

So, she took drastic measures. It was pouring outside, yes, but she was never going to need to talk to Olivia as badly as she does now. So, what does she do?

She decides to look through the window. What can I say? Soulmates think alike.

She was especially grateful to see that Olivia hadn't put up her curtains yet, so with only a stance on her tippy-toes she was able to peer inside the glass. With a knock, she looked around the room, checking for any sign of Olivia. Maybe she was in the closet, or maybe taking a VERY deep nap. But no, nobody was in there.

Great. What the fuck does she do now?

Olivia was driving like a madwoman. She was never going to need to talk to Minnie as badly as she does now. She would have to race through the rainy streets of California and manage to not make a wrong turn and accidentally crash her car and simultaneously end her life. No biggie.

The twisted turns of the slippery road were enough to make Olivia sick to her stomach, but the thought of what could happen when she finds Minnie, let the overgrowth of butterflies take over any feeling of uneasiness.

She takes a sharp turn into Cornelius Street, passing by her neighboring houses and silently praying that she'll be able to drive through the suburbs without having anxious thoughts one day.
