It was finally Wednesday, aka the day of the 'drivers license' music video shoot.
You can't have your first real music video shoot without jitters, which is exactly what Olivia was dealing with.
Lucky for her, she has a Minnie, and that Minnie was hellbent on making sure Olivia was not only comfortable with her place in life today, but also that she was feeling like a bad bitch. You don't make a kick ass song and then proceed to not feel like a bad bitch, and Minnie made sure of that.
With carefully articulated words of encouragement and a few unscripted kisses, Olivia was ready. Although, she still had a bit of nervousness left over, but that was simply inevitable, she just needed a little confirmation that she deserves all the good things coming her way.
When the two girls arrived on set, which takes place in the suburbs (duh), they were met with makeup brushes and millions of sticky notes with ideas for the video.
Olivia had decided she didn't want any super heavy makeup. She was just looking for the average glam, which is what she got. Minnie however, since she enjoyed staying behind the camera and having insightful conversations with the director, was granted the privilege of filming behind the scenes footage.
Plus, the directors were looking for a way to get Minnie on her feet and away from directly behind the camera, as Olivia would only look her way during takes and smile uncontrollably.
"It's a sad song, Olivia!" they would have to remind her.
Minnie would personally say she did a fantastic job, she got footage from the makeup room, to the very modernized house they were just allowed to film in.
"Heyyyyy, Livvie Lou Belle," Minnie called in Olivia's direction, zooming the camera lens comedically close to Olivia's face.
"Oh god, don't call me that," Olivia replied, her mouth full of what was Dan's gift of donuts.
Minnie felt mischievous and disregarded the camera's view as she let it rest by her side and moved closer to Olivia, her lips ghosting the girls'.
They made eye contact as Olivia swallowed the bit of her donut nervously, her eyes wide and her breathing becoming erratic.
Just as it seemed Minnie was going to attach their lips, she reached behind Olivia and grabbed a donut from Dan's gift box.
Olivia was bewildered as Minnie pulled the glaze donut up to her face and took a bite, leaning away from Olivia's face with a smirk and sauntering to the trailer door.
Minnie called back for a last time, "Back on set in 5!"
"Yeah I hear you!" Olivia called back, with a mumbled "asshole" going unheard by the exiting girl.
}
"Hey Liv, hey Liv, look over here," Minnie spoke quickly and obnoxiously, purposefully attempting to sound like an annoying child, as she zoomed into Olivia's face once again as they both sat in her trailer.
Olivia smiled fondly towards the camera, "How many times are you gonna do this?"
"Until the video is over, duh."
"I hate you," Olivia rolled her eyes.
"You love me," Minnie smiled cheekily.
"I love you."
Minnie flips the camera in her direction, "Y'all hear that? She loves ME."
Olivia's head falls back as she laughs. "Shut up, we have a video to finish."
