Minnie woke up at 8 AM this morning. Something she had never done willingly. She set her alarm with a plan set in mind as she found herself making waffles in the kitchen.

Just a couple of days ago, the girls had gone to the store where Minnie had found the cutest little waffle maker she's ever seen. She bought it without hesitation, despite Olivia's claims that they didn't need one.

She knew she was going to use it for Olivia's birthday.

She also knew breakfast in bed was cliché, but it was the most creative that her mind could get. Plus, at this point, she knows anything she would do for the girl, Olivia would be thankful for.

It had been 11 AM when Olivia woke up. She, also, did not wake up willingly, as it was the sound of the smoke alarm that rudely summoned her from her slumber.

With the jump of her soul, her hand flew to the empty side of the bed.

"Min!" she called out with a rather raspy voice, considering she had been awake for less than a minute.

The smoke alarm continued its vicious blare as she leaped out of bed and out of the bedroom, expecting literally anything besides the smell of burnt waffles and bacon.

"Liv! You're not supposed to be up!" Minnie spoke in her out-of-breath state, her hair in a messy ponytail with an apron on that said 'I love when my wife let's me go fishing.'

Olivia coughed at the smoke as Minnie opened the front door, waving it front and back in an attempt to relieve the house of any more smoke.

The smoke alarm eventually stopped its ever-so-horrible sound as Minnie, still out-of-breath, made her way back to Olivia; who was standing in bewilderment of the mess in the kitchen.

"What were you trying to do?" Olivia eyed the charred bacon on the floor.

"Make you breakfast in bed," Minnie spoke with her eyes wide at her mistakes.

"You were gonna make breakfast for me?" Olivia looked doe-eyed at Minnie.

"Really? You think it's cute that I nearly burned down the kitchen?" Minnie mimicked Olivia's tone as she joked.

"As a matter of fact, I do." Olivia smiled, turning to wrap her arms around Minnie's neck

Minnie returned the gesture, her hands finding themselves around Olivia's waist as she pecked her lips, "Happy 18th, baby."

"Th-"

"Hold that thought!" Minnie's memory caught up to her as she quickly detached from the girl as she ran in the direction of the bedroom, leaving Olivia quite confused.

Minnie ran out seconds later wielding her speaker.

"I made a playlist for this day, I swear." Minnie placed the speaker on the kitchen counter, away from any spilled waffle batter as she began to untie the punny apron she was sporting.

"No no, leave it on." Olivia smiled cherishingly.

Minnie gave a funny smirk as she removed her hands from the bow she had tied, "Alright then."

She pressed the play button and returned to Olivia as the beginnings of Sunflower Vol. 6 played.

Olivia's head fell back in a laugh at the familiar sound, "Really? Harry?"

"There's a Harry song for everything, babe. Come on, dance with me."

They couldn't want each other anymore as they kissed in the kitchen like it was a dance floor.
