The summer months flew by faster than Minnie was able to comprehend. All the sessions with Dan had morphed into a portion of Olivia's debut album. The three loved working together, Dan and Minnie had a knack for producing and songwriting, while Olivia was a master at both plus vocals. Dan had started calling her triple threat and didn't hesitate to call Minnie, Minnie Mouse, despite the many glares she threw him.

So far, Olivia's album (for which the trio still can't find a name) consisted of:

traitor - drivers license - 1 steps forward, 3 steps back - jealousy, jealousy

-> Fun Fact: Minnie and Olivia co-wrote most of the songs together, but they take most shared pride in co-writing 'jealousy, jealousy' that stemmed from a rant they were going on while Dan was in the restroom during their second session. He came back to find Minnie and Olivia chanting, "HAPPIER, PRETTIER, JEALOUSY, JEALOUSY!" This prompted Dan to make bringing out the video camera a usual thing.

And, you guessed it, the rest of the songs revolve around the breakup caused by the asshole that is Joshua. Minnie wasn't too jazzed about it but she was pretty okay with the fact that all the times she had to withstand his godawful presence were totally worth it, considering the breaking of Olivia's fragile heart seemed to generate the best kind of creative trigger.

Those four songs, I should mention, are the finished songs. There's a song called 'enough for you' in the works, they're still working on the last verse because they want it to be different from the others but can't figure out how they want it to change. Minnie and Olivia also have ideas for two more that they plan to discuss with Dan after Christmas week. The first idea originated from a single line written in Olivia's Notes App, which she hurriedly typed out when it came to mind while watching Minnie dance to 'Uptown Girl', she'd known she'd seen her do it before and it triggered something inside her. The line was simple but clever, "Do you get deja vu when she's with you?"

The second idea generated from Minnie's mind when Avril Lavigne's songs started shuffle playing on her playlist.

"Liv, what if we did punk-pop?" Minnie had asked, her eyes lit with light bulbs as she faced Olivia, who sat across the couch.

"YES, what if- what if we make it like angsty-"

"ANGSTY 2000s TEENAGE FEMINIST CHEESY HORROR MOVIE-ESQUE?!?!" Minnie saw fireworks as ideas started to emerge from the pits of her deepest desires.

"YES, AND IT'S AN ANGRY SONG ABOUT HOW WELL OFF MY EX IS!" Olivia added on.

"GOOD FOR YOU! THAT'S IT, THE TITLE, YES AND- BUT IT'S WITH A 4 INSTEAD- SHIT LET ME WRITE THIS DOWN!"

So that's how that one came to be. The girls are almost finished with the lyrics, they're waiting to complete it with Dan after the holidays, and they're sure he's going to give great pointers.

In case you hadn't realized, it's December, and Christmas is in a few weeks. You would think the girls are decorating Christmas trees and making hot cocoa. But no, they're packing. Packing all of their clothes, belongings, and meaningless knickknacks for the move. 1785 Cornelius Street was finally and fully theirs, and they decided to try and get everything moved into the house before the holiday week rolled around, because they want more than anything to spend this Christmas as their first one in their new home.

Now into the scene...

Minnie sighs exhaustedly as she closes the folds of the last box in her apartment. She wants to pour herself a cup of water but she packed the kitchenware six boxes ago. Too tired to even attempt searching through the labeled boxes stacked throughout her living room, she tramps over to the front door, opening it wide and allowing air to circulate through the walls of her apartment for the first time in hours it seems. She closes her eyes in comfort, at peace with the influx of cool air and the fact that she was finally done packing. She hasn't seen Olivia all day besides on FaceTime at noon, which was when they mutually agreed on a break from packing. Now that she's done, she can load all of her boxes into the U-Haul, which she's dreading, and then drive up to Olivia's place where they'll do the same thing just with Olivia's things, and off to Cornelius Street, they'll be.
