Ch. 25 | The Myth of Pegasus

???'s POV:

The cosmos is unyielding and the potential it holds is infinite 

The stars used to glow so bright.

But he can no longer see such light, he now basks in the darkness of this pit.

From day to night, the universe inside his body slowly fades

Once a dignified knight now crusades,

Can his soul escape?

Escape the torture and sorrow?

He will never know until he reaches the end of his adventure,

Walking and striving for greatness, hoping to see a bright tomorrow,

He walks the deserts, mountains and seas, never finding what he needs in his venture,

In the white room he stops and looks up at the stars, stars which used to light his walk,

He sees they still shine bright,

A shine he must protect,

He musn't let them fade like his, the promise he made, he must never forget,

He fights and defends,

He fights the other dark shadows in the universe, the shadows he so much resents.

With a fist shining golden, but an armor clad in dark he strikes

Striking down all shadows until he is satisfied.

Even so the golden light is too late,

He can't stop her, not even with a power so great,

A Shining pegasus bursts into flames,

and from it a demonic bird descends.

With all his emotion a new power he claims,

But with this new power his shining stars fade.

The stars inside his universe dim and go back into shade.

Can this saint regain his golden light?

Can he undo his wrongs and find what is right? 

Ruby's POV:

'Gin, Gin, Gin, Gin.' I repeated his name in my head, over and over again. I was inside our new dorms and it was around five in the morning. I felt like I was about to pass out due to a lack of sleep.
