Ch. 5| Birthday

Third POV:

"Ozpin! Why did you postpone the meeting on our budget?" A blond woman asked Ozpin who looked at her. She styled her hair on a curl which hung down the right side of her face. Her eyes were bright green and she wore thin ovular glasses. She had dangling teal earrings that matched the hanging pendant on her collar.

She wore a white long-sleeved, pleated top that had a wide keyhole neckline and gauntlet cuffs that flared in pleats at the wrist. Her lower body was covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black-brown stockings.

She also wore black boots with bronze heels and a cape that was purple inside and black on the outside. The cut of the cape was stylised to end in flames and arrows, with a row of diamond-shaped bronze beads on the back.

"I am sorry Glynda, but I was invited to a lovely birthday party today and cannot attend the meeting" Ozpin said smiling sweetly at the woman who narrowed her eyes. "You blew a meeting like this to go to a birthday party?" She asked worriedly. 

"It might seem very bizarre for Ozpin, but believe me when I say that this is important Glynda" A man with black hair with some grey areas said. He was sitting on a small chair on the room.  He wore a white overcoat, with a grey undercoat, black sweater, a red necktie and a white glove on his right hand. His suit pants shared the same color as his overcoat and were tucked into silver boots accented in grey.

Next to him was a tall and fair-skinned young woman with slate-blue eyes. She wore her white hair tied up in a bun, high on the left side of the back of her head, while her bangs were shaped around the right side of her face, a small curled lock of hair reaching almost to her left shoulder.

She was wearing a white long-sleeved coat with a single dark blue clasp around the center waist holding it shut alongside a red jewelled brooch on the collar. The coat's length ran down to her ankles and the sleeves are split from shoulder to elbow. She wore a white pleated sleeveless blouse with a dark blue waistcoat. A pair of white trousers with dark blue garters alongside a pair of grey thigh boots with black detailing around the knees. She also wore a pair of black forearm length gloves with grey trimmed cuffs.

"General Ironwood" Glynda said with slight discomfort(annoyance) in her tone. Ozpin smiled and looked at his friend. "James it is nice to see you." Ozpin said making the man nod and go towards Ozpin for a hug. They both greeted each other in the form of a hug and then looked at the other woman in the room. 

"Right I have yet to introduce you, this is operative Schnee, I hired her a few months ago." The general said as the white haired woman stood up and greeted the two people. "Hello, my name is Winter Schnee, it is nice to meet you professor Ozpin. The general always speaks highly of you" She said respectfully. 

Winter turned around and looked at a little girl and a boy. The  girl seemed to be around five or six and looked a lot like Winter, with the exception of her hair being pulled into a ponytail. She was wearing a white shirt which had red edges and a white skirt which was red on the inside. 

Next to her was a boy who looked younger than his sister but had the same over all appearance, he was a boy of fair skin and with slate-blue eyes along with white hair. He was wearing a royal blue shirt along with black pants. 

"Weiss, Whitley don't be shy and introduce yourself" Winter said slightly more warm towards both of the children who nodded. "H-Hi, my name is Weiss Schnee, nice to meet you." Weiss introduced herself giving a small bow to the adults who nodded. "N-Nice to meet you my name is Whitley Schnee" The boy introduced himself as Glynda nodded.
