I don't own Saint Seiya or Rwby, just the OC and the idea of this fic.

Defteros sat down atop the tallest mountain in the world. It was located north of wherever the Second Pegasus -- or Dragon Saint had brought them. He hated being with others, socializing at a time of crisis seemed like something an idiot would do. He supposed he had the Dragon Saint to thank for something -- the distortion he created with his overwhelming cosmo allowed Defteros to tap into the distortion and beat his brother easier than he'd expected previously.

He sat down and closed his eyes, concentrating on the space surrounding him. His cosmo flared and flowed, and the universe itself resonated with him -- the place he'd landed on wasn't just simply a parallel timeline or the future for that fact.

Defteros knit his eyebrows, 'The bug lied straight to Athena's face.' He thought keeping his concentration. He could feel the cosmos of everything in the universe, he could tell the universe he was currently in had an overwhelmingly low amount of cosmo. 'What's the meaning of this?' he questioned, opening his eyes and crossing his arms. "It's like this place is only one layer, there's more realms in it." None of what the Dragon saint made sense with the evidence he had. "If this is the same universe -- then it's funny that none of the stars in our universe exist here," Defteros huffed, "What the hell is this place?"

A plethora of people came to the Vytal festival, the seats to Amity Arena usually sold out in the first few days they were released, and airplane tickets were booked months prior. Tenma -- a newcomer to this world saw it all at once. Thankfully he had someone with him that could calm him down and help him understand the features of this new world -- Ruby had decided to help him get used to Vale. She took the fact they'd be enemies in the tournament better than what Tenma expected.

"What in Artemis' bow is that?!" He pointed at a group of Faunus, people with animal features -- creatures that had to be related to Artemis in his mind. Ruby grabbed his arm and with great difficulty (Tenma let her) she lowered his arm.

"Hey -- Hey that's rude! Don't point like that!" Ruby said, putting a finger against her lip. She'd never seen someone who didn't know what a Faunus was, "I thought I was sheltered -- jeez. How can you not know what a Faunus is?"

"Nevermind the creatures of Artemis, look at that! What's with the steel carriage? Why doesn't it have horses pulling it!?" Tenma pointed at the cars in the distance and Ruby couldn't help but give off a chuckle, this guy had never seen a car either.

"What do you mean horse? Are you hundreds of years old or something?" Ruby asked, shrugging and shaking her head, "We stopped using horses to get to places like five hundred years ago or something" Ruby said looking at Tenma's face of surprise.

"Instant food, explosive drinks encased in metal, carriages without horses, now you're gonna say that you can produce heat without fire," Tenma said, looking at everything. From the weird poles coming out of the ground, to the black ground that was straight and easy to walk through. Everything was surprising, everything was exciting, and everything was unknown. The stone used on the side-walked was slightly higher than the black ground the cars came in on, which made it easier to distinguish where things were supposed to go. Back where he was from everything was dirt.
