Ch. 10 | Brother in Arms

Gin's POV

I was sitting down together with Dōko who was staring at me with a hand on his chin. I was placed under his care and tutelage and was slightly exited for what I would learn, I mean shooting cosmo dragons out of my arms sounded like an awesome ability. 

"Hmmm" He hummed looking at me while sitting down. 

"W-What?" I asked as he stared even more closely than before.

"You are definitely a pegasus." He said sighing and putting a hand on his forehead. 

"This so bizarre." He thought out-loud as we sat in-front of one another. "Well, there is not much we can do now is there?" He asked grinning as he got up. He looked around the empty place we were in, the sanctuary actually only had 88 saints, Athena, the pope and maybe some people like me who got lost or something. Not a lot of people here is what I'm getting at. 

The thing is that the Sanctuary was enormous which meant a lot of empty spaces with nothing but land, which the saints mostly used to train or to talk in peace. 

"Ah! There he is!" Dōko said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me up to my feet. "Let's go meet the other pegasus" He said to me making me nod as we walked towards a small space which looked like an arena but with some broken pillars here and there. 

"Tenma!" Dōko yelled catching the attention of a teen who looked around fifteen or older. He looked surprisingly like me, except my eyes were a nice silver, although if I were to compare myself on my past life I would've looked exactly like him. His eyes were a soft brown which looked red on the sunlight and the only thing differentiating me from him was that I was taller than him at his apparent age.

He wore a red sleeveless shirt under platinum/silver-blue armour. His armour didn't cover much of his body at all and only covered the essentials like his head, his forearms and hands as well as his legs, on his waist was a gladiator skirt made out of a metal. He wore a tiara looking head-piece which had the head of a horse on the middle and two wings on the sides. 

"Oh! Dōko!" He said waving our way as we slowly made our way to the small arena. He stared at me and recoiled back in surprise and shock. 

"W-Who are you?!" He asked me while pointing at me. 

'That wasn't the expected reaction' I thought as he stared at me for a long time before turning to Dōko who put his hand on my head. "This kid was seen in the middle of the Sanctuary" He explained making Tenma stand more normally and listen. 

Dōko explained my situation which made Tenma nod. "Alright, what do you need me for?" He asked unsure as to why we were asking for him. 

"Well Tenma, you are also a pegasus, and I think you both need training. So I was thinking on training you both together" He said making Tenma nod. I was exited, what were we gonna do?

It was exiting thinking about it! A gold saint training me!

"Well first let's make you be on tip-top form!" He said making me nod, it made sense to use high amounts of Cosmo one had to be able to support the quantity or else the body could be harmed severally.

It can't be that bad of training right?

"Tenma! I think I'm dying" I thought out-loud as I panted while holding my knees.
