Ch.22| It's been a while

Third POV:

It was night time. Everything fell silent as people slowly returned home, or stayed on the streets to drink, buy their own things or to eat at restaurants.

Not all seemed to have good intentions however.

Inside a small shop laid several men wearing black suits and red stained glass glasses(A/n: I know). Leading them was a man wearing a white suit and a bowler hat. He had green eyes and the most orange hair.

They held an old man behind the counter of the shop with guns while the leader of the small group counted vials inside a briefcase.

Soon one of the men was slammed with a fast moving object and crashed through the window. The leader got up from his comfortable position and clicked his tongue. Walking outside he stared at what had hit his men.

'A girl?' He questioned looking at a silver eyed girl who had an enormous scythe on her back. She twirled it and then slammed it on the ground causing some cracks to be seen as the edge of the scythe dug itself to the ground.

She was wearing a black skirt with red accents and a very noticeable red hood. On her hip was a belt, one which held her emblem which was a metallic rose and the held a dog-tag which had a pegasus symbol on it.

The scythe was a hybrid between bladed weapon and sniper. And so the girl removed the safety and pulled back the small lever next to the barrel(A/n: don't remember how it's called sorry).

"Well? Get her!" The man ordered as his men looked at each other before looking at the girl and charging towards her.

The girl shot the first round at the man closest to her and then took the scythe riffle from the ground, only to then use the recoil of the gun to zip around and beat the different goons.

"You were worth every penny, really you were." The man commented sarcastically as he looked at the girl.

"Usually I'd say something sarcastic, give you a nickname and leave. But you see, today is your lucky day!" The man said adjusting his hat and then looking to his left, where a man wearing blackened armor stood. He had long grey hair and black eyes. His armor was entirely black with a tinge of purple which seemed to shine only under the moonlight, and in a menacing way(A/n: Dial down the jojo please). On the back of his armor stood two wings.

"My my. You truly are an interesting one." The armored man said looking at the girl. He had a smirk on his face and a glint in his eyes.

"You remind me of a boy, a very young boy." He said, smirking as he slowly walked towards the girl. Each footstep caused a clanking sound to be heard, his armor although sounded heavy, did not seem so when he walked.

"W-what?" The girl questioned wide eyed. She looked around and gulped.

"Oh? Just noticed?" He asked as semi-transparent strings became visible due to the moonlight.

The smirk on the man's face was obvious.

"You cannot run dear. You've been caught in my Cosmic Marionette" He explained proudly with a sadistic smile.

"You have your fun... Yea, have your fun nameless guy. Meanwhile I'll take my leave, if you do not mind." The leader of the gang said as the armored man chuckled.
