Chapter 19~ The key

After that little incident with Jeff earlier, I went down stairs to eat some breakfast. As I walked into the kitchen, Jeff was sitting at the table eating cereal with no shirt on.

" Jeff, I really wish you would keep your shirt on. I mean your not the only one that lives here and it's my house!"

Jeff: Shut up Korbyn.*Crunch* I'm your guest so I get to do what I want.

He said with a mouth full of cereal. I didn't feel like arguing with him right now, so I just got myself a bowl and poured some coco puffs. I grabbed the milk and looked inside to see that it was empty. Apparently he used up all my milk, so I just ate the cereal dry. Scarecrow walks into the kitchen.

Scarecrow: Good morning korbyn. Ewww, it's Jeff!

Jeff: Good morning to you too bitch!

As soon as Scarecrow walks in, Masky comes in behind her.

Mask: G-Good m-morning Ms. Korbyn.

"Good morning Mask, good morning to you to Scarecrow"

I walked to the kitchen counter and picked up the key my grandma left me. Maybe I should go to the bank today to see what grandma left for me. I run back up stairs to put some clothes on.

"You guys, I'm going to the bank. Be carefully not to get in trouble! "

Masky: Ms. Korbyn, shouldn't you have one of us to come with you? Your power have just started to grow but it's not enough to protect you.

"..... I guess so,who wants to come?"

Scarecrow: I would come but I'm not one of your bodyguards!

Jeff: I don't care, I'm going back up stairs to sleep! Someone wouldn't leave me alone last night, Korbyn!

"Well it's you're fault for climbing into someone else's bed in the middle of the night barely wearing anything!*Blushed* You know what, I don't even want to talk about it. Any how, Masky are you coming?"

Masky: I guess so. It's not like there's anything else to do around here.

~Later on

We're in the bank. Me and Masky walked up to one of the banks cashier and asked if I could open my grandma's bank account. The cashier asked us to follow her. She took us to a room with one light hanging in the celling. She told us to stay her and she'd be right back. She came back within 5 minutes, also she was carrying grandma's box. She handed the box to me. I took the key from in my pocket and stuck it in the lock. I turned the key and it unlocked. I slowly opened the box to see a beautiful blue sapphire necklace! The sapphire was incredibly beautiful!

Masky: *gasp*... Oh my, what a beautiful necklace! I wonder why Ms. Rosa put this in her account?

"I don't know but I'm happy it wasn't anything dangerous."

Masky: Would you like to put it on?

"I don't know? Hmmmm... I mean maybe I'm not pretty enough the wear it.

Masky: Of course your pretty! Here let me put it on you.

Masky pick's up the necklace and I lift the back of my hair up. His face was too close to mine. I felt his hot breathe breathing on my neck. "I think your pretty as you are Ms. Korbyn" whispered Masky in my ear. I blushed with embarrassment. His soft voice gave me a tingle sensation from my ear's all the way down to my chest. He moved away from me and told me to look down. I looked to he was done putting the necklace on me.

Masky: You look beautiful Ms. Korbyn.

*Blushing* " Thank you"

We took the necklace and went back home. As we pulled up the house I could hear Jeff's dog howling. Me and Masky walk inside to see the house looking a terrible mess! I was so freakin pissed!

" JEEEFFFF AND SCARECROW!!!!! COME DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!!"

I yelled. They both ran down stairs, pushing each other while running .

"Who the hell made this mess?! We haven't even been gone that long!"

Jeff: First of all, who the fuck do you your yelling at? I'm not a fucking kid so if you yell at me again like that, I'll fucking kill you. Second of all, I have nothing to do with the house being a mess. I was sleep the whole time.

Scarecrow: OK see what had happened was, I was trying to make Smile Dog take a bath because he looks dirty and he smells. So I put him in the tub and turned the water on but when he start getting hit with water, he jumped out! I tried to to catch him, and we kinda made a mess. But if Jeff would have cleaned him in the first place, this would have never happened...

Jeff: Raggedy Ann, don't try to blame this shit on me. He's perfectly fine, so stop messing with him.

" Never mind, I don't care anymore. Just clean it up! I'm really tried now. I'm going up stairs to take a bath."
