Korbyn's POV

As we walk into the kitchen, we seen Slenderman. He paced around until he noticed us and walked up to me. He lift me in the air and seemed to look around me. I was confused but I didn't struggle because I didn't want him to drop me. After a few minutes, he put me down.

Slenderman: You seem fine?

"Why wouldn't I be?"

He shakes his head.

Slenderman: Don't worry about it. Long as you didn't get hurt, it doesn't matter.

I stared at him but I didn't say anything. Masky, who had already started making breakfast while humming a little tune to himself. There were eggs, bacon, and bread out on the kitchen counter. Slenderman sat at the table. He turned his view to me again and spoke.

Slenderman: Korbyn! I really need you to try harder to bring out your true powers. We're running out of time. I can sense Zalgo's power in the air. He's getting more powerful every moment. I can't fight him on my own.

At that moment, Jeff interrupts.

Jeff: On your own?! It's not just your Fight! It's also mines! Honestly, I don't need anyones help to fight Zalgo. I can handle him myself!

*Slenderman slams his hand on the table*

Slenderman: Damn it Jeff!! If you couldn't even beat me, What THE HELL MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT HIM!?

The look in Jeff's face was frustrated, yet powerless. He looked away without saying a word.

Slenderman: LOOK! We all need to work together here but Korbyn, we're counting on your powers because your the only one that can save both of our worlds. We're putting our trust in your hands, so do your part and take responsibility for it.

As he was talking, my mind was lost in my own thoughts. My mind went blank for a moment, trying to figure out what it wants to do. Have you ever felt like you life was suffocating you? Thats me at the moment. Why do I have to be responsible? Why was I the chosen one? I just want to live a normal life. I wish my grandma was here. This is to much to deal with. I'm scared. What do I do? Run. Run. Run. Run! I dash out the kitchen and out to the strange forest. I kept running and running in any direction my legs were going. I didn't even look back. I just kept running. I ran till I felt like I could pass out. I stopped by a nearby river to get my thoughts together. I looked around while listening to the sounds of the flowing water. The sound was very relaxing. Looking at fish as they swam alongside each other reminded me of what my grandma used to say. "Looking at fish relaxes the mind and soul because the way they swim. Very soft and calming". She would say to as we watch the fish at the zoo swim. It makes me wish I was a beautiful fish instead of a human. Things would have been much easier. It felt like the river was calling out to me. I walked into the water as my body starts floating on the surface of the water. I flow along with the river with my eyes closed. I could hear a light sound. It got closer and louder to where I could hear it better. "Korbyn! Korbyn!". who's calling my name. I want to be left alone.  I kept my eyes close and ignore the sound.
