"woah, you look cool" seulgi muttered as she admired her friend driving through the streets of seoul.

"i drove last night. i only look cool now?" seungwan shot back. seulgi blinked, eyes looking around trying to find a good excuse. "ah, we were having a moment that time! you always look cool wannie~" seulgi said with a smile. seungwan raised a brow and eyed the other for awhile sending shivers to seulgi's spine. in the end, she lets out a laugh, feeling a little victorious after the latter's reaction.

"are you really sure about working for my cafe?" seungwan asked. the dark haired girl nodded in response. "there's no business in the case right now, so there's no reason for us to stay in the office. if they do in any way i can just rush off since your cafe is just near" she replied.

junmyeon was out to get some information from the case chanyeol had back then. since both of their cases were connected they would need to get to their target first. bogum was taking a rest after all the work, while doyoung had to run off some personal business. taeyeon called in for joohyun too, no one knows the reason but that's that.

so seulgi decided to have some time on her best friend's cafe. there's nothing else to do aside from staying dead tired on her apartment or walking around to nowhere, but seulgi didn't want that today. plus, it'll be a great help knowing that seungwan was still short on manpower.

curiously her eyes dart on the wallet sitting one of her car's compartment. seungwan slaps her hand before she could even touch it, but seulgi brings up an assuring smile. "curiosity seungwan. just that"

with that seungwan lifts her hand away, her eyes going back on the road. seulgi then inspected the wallet again, a picture of him greeting her the moment she opened it. she looks at it as her eyes start at his dark black hair. to which seulgi found attractive even if she didn't want to admit it. well, maybe she will for a bit.

he looked different, but also the same. perhaps it was the hair. taeyong's black hair made him look bold and strong unlike his ash brown hair now that gave some warm personality. though she could sense some hint of playfulness too. next she admired the eyes. his dark brown eyes.

his eyes looked sharp, but endearing like a puppy at the same time. seulgi pauses, surprised at the insane duality taeyong conveyed through a single picture. she shook her head then moved to the other things she can look at aside from the picture.

a bunch of reward cards and folded coupons. she could've sworn the man probably forgot about all these that he saved for future purposes. usual things are in it: the ids, cards and all. until another picture peeking through at the other side catches her attention. she tried to get it, but soon failed when the car suddenly stopped causing seulgi to hit her head hard.

"curiosity kills the cat" seungwan sneered. although her face drops when she notices a police officer walking towards them. "what's he on about?"

seulgi turns her attention to the man. her face then imitates seungwan after finding out who.

"you okay ladies-oh" the man stops upon realizing who the two girls are. seulgi was about to speak, but seungwan holds her back and volunteered to do the talking. before seungwan could start though, seulgi already went on to take the lead.

"trying to find a girl jimin?" she asks.

with that jimin let's out a snort, his confidence shooting back. "i was doing an act of concern. you guys okay?"

"we're fine. what you should go talking with is that other car" seungwan intruded. "that scum just recklessly started changing lanes"

"hmm yeah, that one would be taken care of" he dismisses with a smile, arms resting at the car window. the two stares at him blankly, making the whole situation awkward.
