5 | Meeting them

Iris's POV

i followed Elijah's footsteps as we walked along the sidewalk where I could see many trees and flowers.

We entered the mansion and I have to say wow the mansion looks even better from the inside.

I quickly scanned the whole mansion without missing a single bit. The beautiful chandeliers hanging down , lamps decorated around the room , marbled floorings ,  grey colored curtains reaching from the stairs to the floor and many more.

I was in awe.

"Is that her ?","Omg , she's back","I missed her"

wow if you did miss me , why didn't you find me earlier and get me out of that stupid house ?

I thought to myself.

Murmurs could be heard as everybody stood there shocked from seeing me here.

There I could see five heads scanning me up and down where I kept my cold , blank , emotionless face on.

There was a one with a neutral look on his face.

One with a scowl on his face which makes me know that I should not talk to him.

One with a similar face with his which showed a shock expression.

One with a grin on his face which makes me know that we are gonna be besties.

And the last but not least the one who looks like he has tears in his eyes probably too emotional. But when he met eyes ,my eyes widen.

"Why does he have my face ?" I blurted out, pointing to the one who has almost the same features as me.

Everybody stood there immediately burst into laughter.

"that's your twin , Louis"

The boy with a grin on his face said while holding onto his stomach obviously from laughing way too hard.

"Oh right , I forgot I had one" I said , looking down from embarrassment as my cheeks flushed red as I brought my hand to my mouth trying to stop a yawn.

"Alright , that's probably enough. Iris is back and she is probably tired from this long trip. So we will continue this tomorrow."

The one with a neutral face said , noticing me from the yawn  before silencing the whole room , making me know that he has the most authority in the house.

Which I'm glad that he actually decided to pause this family reunion because I'm actually tired from all of this traveling.

"By the way , dad and mum has some things to do right now at the moment so he can't be here right now but he will be tomorrow." The one with the neutral face said.

"Wait what , my real dad and mum ?"

"Yes , your REAL dad and mum" Neutral face said. I've decided that he is gonna be called neutral face and before I could say anything , he beat me to it.

"Elijah will guide you to your room" once again neutral face said.

Elijah then guided me to a stack of stairs which I followed him as he takes me to the second level where I could see rooms with names on it.

"Okay , this goes by from oldest to youngest so your room is all the way at the end of the hallway"

we stood in front of the room with the word 'Iris' on it. I opened the door and my mouth dropped.

wow I have to say , this is the best room I've ever seen.

The decorations of this room was amazing. No words could describe how fabulous this room looked. It was black in color which is one of my favorite colors , the other is red.

"I'm guessing you like it, we originally wanted it to be pink as it was your favorite color when you were younger but Louis said he could feel the twin instincts that it would be best to paint it black."

"Louis ? Oh wait , yea , he is my twin. I forgot"
I muttered loud enough that Elijah could hear.

"If you need anything , you can always ask for it" He said before going off but what I did next was shocking even to me.

I hugged him bringing my arm around his waist and I could feel him stiffened at first but slowly relaxed and hugged me back. "Thank you"I muttered those words.

"Anything for you sorellina" he said before giving me a peck on my forehead then leaving the room.

I went on to my bed , under the blanket as i take in all the things that happened today. I got to say that this bed was really comfortable, it kept me warm something I didn't experience in my old home.

Few moments later before I dozed off thinking on what it's gonna be like tomorrow but little did I know , I was gonna be in for a surprise.
