3 | Finding out

Elijah's POV

Chandeliers, lamps and not a single speck of dust could be spotted in this huge room that was about to be the most important alliance we ever made.

Mens all dressed up lavishly and formal with their emotionless face on when suddenly the door creaked open. They all turn their attention towards my dad , still keeping the emotionless face.

"Today , I hold this meeting is for hoping you all will agree to the alliance between us." He said , making eye contact with every single person in the room , that could send shivers down one spine. And you know that it is actually a serious business if he is having that serious face on.

When he was getting started, a ringing noise rang from his pocket which filled the entire room as everybody eyes darted to him , he picked up his phone , looked at the contact before declining it.

He was about to continue when it rang again "excuse me , I'll be back" he said with an annoyed tone , slowly before exiting the room.

Few minutes later , he returned to the room , looking shock and happy at the same time which is so rare to see because the last time we ever saw him smile was the time he was with iris before she was taken away.

I could not help but wonder what was making my dad smile especially after that phone call.

"Hi , I'm back and I'm sorry we have to postpone this meeting as something REALLY urgent pop up" he said before ushering all of us , siblings , into a private room where we all stood there with a confused look.

"What is it so important that we have to postpone this meeting , dad"Alexander said , rolling his eyes and crossing his arms.

"Don't be so rude to dad"Lorenzo harshly said before giving a smack on Alexander's back , earning a 'ah' from him where we all just stood there giggling before dad said those three words that changed everything.

"We found her"

All of us stood rooted to the ground, no one said a single thing while we all stared at dad. Silence was the word to describe the tension at this moment.

'she's back, she's finally back' , i thought to myself

"Sh...she's back ? my tw...twin is back ?" Louis said trying to not fumble which broke the awkward silence.

"Yes , she's back but I need Elijah to pick her up while Lorenzo you talk to the Spanish mafia about the alliance while all of you" he said pointing to Alexander , Jacob , Lucas and Louis "stay at home"

"but why ? I want to pick iris up" Lucas asked.

"Because all of you will probably make iris feel uncomfortable when there is too many of you all, understood ?" He replied sternly.

While we all just nod our head knowing not to argue with dad at this moment.

(when Elijah arrived to the principal's office)
(Cos i was thinking it might be too long)

I sat there waiting patiently for my sorella (sister) and fumbling with my fingers and i can't stop the thought that raced in my head 'what if she forgot about me' , 'what if she doesn't like me' , and the most important thought that send shivers down me if this was not true 'is she okay'.

Little did I know that 'okay' was not the word use to describe her.

As more and more thoughts rushed through my mind , it was cut short by the sudden kicking of the door. There stood my beautiful sorellina ( baby sister ).

I took time to examined how similar she looked like with Ella ( mum ) she has the same brown eyes and her silky hair stretched down to her shoulders.

I could see her eyes widen on how similar we both look like but it was only for a few seconds before she put on her blank face which surprised me as she was always a small innocent baby girl but now she has a cold face on which could send shivers down people spine and her aura is extremely dark and powerful which makes me even more confused as to how she has it.

My only thought was 'what have you been through , my sorellina ?' But what caught me off guard was how she addressed the principal.

"Hey old man , what am I here for ? Is it the vandalism or is it the mess ?"She said.

Vandalism ? The mess ? She made it ? I can't help but to think she is a total opposite from what she used to be.

But when the principal asked her if her parents did anything to her. I can't help but to notice how she was biting her lips and her legs started to shake which made me furrowed my eyebrows on why she was nervous but probably no one notice it except me.

But the furrowing of her eyebrows when he said the words 'mum' and 'dad' caught me off guard. Why is she furrowing her eyebrows?

I also can't help but to clench my fists when he said that. They were no parents of hers when she was taken away by Mia.

"what's gonna happen to me ? Am I going into a foster care orphanage ?" She questioned with her sweet angelic voice. Her voice was beautiful.

The principal kindly told her about how she has siblings in fact 5 older brother and a twin but what she said next felt like a pin my heart.

"But I'm an only child , I do not have any siblings, old man if this is some joke you can give up" she had forgot about us.

I notice how she glanced at me and saw my expression but I brushed it off by putting a blank expression on and she quickly faced herself towards the principal.

When my name was said , she glanced at me and scanned me through which made me confused on what she was doing.

"Well , lets go then" before she picked up her bag and exited the office , leaving me with a lot of unanswered questions.
