23 | Witness

Jacob's POV

Me , Alexander , Lucas , Louis , Ryan , Liam which are our friends who knows about us in the mafia were just casually in the cafeteria waiting for Iris to come.

I knew that Iris was in detention according to Ryan as he was in detention too.

"She was so cool you know , you should have seen what she did" Ryan said in awe.

"What did she do?" Lucas asked.

"She whispered something into Mr. William's ears and he face went pale as if he saw a ghost and the best part is how he gave her the answer to the papers WILLINGLY."

"WILLINGLY ? , he NEVER does it no matter how many times I asked for it" Liam laughed.

We spotted Iris walking with Noah chatting away with smiles on their faces.

It was those smiles that makes us remember Iris when she was taken away , she was a ball of energy.

We wanted to invite them to come sit with us as Noah would always sit with Lucas but this time he sat with Iris instead.

"Is that Brittany ? Why is she walking towards Iris with coke in her hands and her-" Louis said but he stopped when we all saw what she did.

Brittany acts like she owns this school even though she doesn't , she basically slept with everybody except us because we kept on pushing her away , she's basically some stupid insect that nobody want to have any relation with, that keeps coming back.

It's pathetic.
And annoying.

We watched as Brittany poured the coke on Iris , drenching her hair and her hoodie. My fish clenched into a ball with my anger building up and was ready to punch her.

Iris stood up , kicked the chair , turned behind facing Brittany which I could see a smirk on Brittany's face.

Everybody's attention were on Iris and Brittany. Some even videoing and some cheering.

Iris and Brittany both exchanged words and Brittany pointed to Reuben and his gang table which I assume Brittany must be telling Iris to stay away from them.

Classic Bitchy Brittany.

(note* I wanted to find a word that start with B instead of Classic to describe Brittany but I couldn't)

Iris said something to her and took a step forward while Brittany took a step back.

But when Iris stopped at the third step , I could see her trying to contain herself but I know something bad is going to happen from what I remembered when we were at the cafe , that didn't end well for that bitch.

Iris said something and stood out her hand which I think it must be something that Brittany expected because her smirked dropped and her minions were boiling.

But we were too far to be able to hear what they are saying.

Brittany started dashing towards Iris with her clenched fists but Iris dodged it.

She took a fistful of Brittany's hair and pulled it , she whispered into her ear before slamming her to the floor where the coke was and stepped on her with her leg before giving her punch to end Brittany.

Her minions started to throw punches but Iris skillfully managed to dodge it and threw some on them.

We all watched the fight and how she threw each of them on the floor one by one. We wanted to help Iris and were about to stand up but one of them kicked her on the supposedly right thigh where she injured it.

She fell down on her knees while holding on her thigh and pulled , the one who kicked her , right leg to the floor and give her one last punch on the nose before she passed out.

I looked to the floor where she knocked all of them out and some have bruises forming on them. I've never knew she learned how to fight. I was in utter shock.

She stood up holding on a nearby table leg , shakily.

There was blood leaking out from her right thigh , blood ?

Why is there blood ?

Didn't she just hit it ? 

She looked around the cafeteria to be met with our eyes with concern and furious looks. She limped out of the cafeteria holding her bleeding right thigh.

"She's bleeding" Alexander spoke.

We knew this is something we have to tell dad about and something to research about , her skills.

We stared at each other , processing everything that happened just now.

Reuben's POV

I saw how Iris basically knocked all 4 of Brittany's minions including her out with bruises on them which completely shocked me.

I thought she had just a smart mouth but she knows how to fight too but that wasn't the thing that lingered in my mind. It was the fact that she was bleeding from her right thigh.

How did she get injured ?

That look pretty bad considering she limped out from the cafeteria.

I locked eyes with her brown eyes and saw a blank space but in it was a hint of panic within the depth of it.

"Yo she can fight ?" Damien spoke.

"Apparently she does , very good. Her punches are very clean and her movement seems familiar" I said , thinking about my very last words.

I knew I have seen this before but I can't seem to remember but is she okay ?

"Someone is thinking very hard or more like caring about her" Adam broke my train of thought.

I didn't respond back even though it is obviously targeted to me.

And I'm gonna find whoever dare to hurt her or touch a strand of her hair.

Reuben doesn't know about Iris's wound ?
Will he know he is the second sole cause for it ?

The one that pulled the trigger right at her.
