Two weeks went by fast. He kept busy driving Harry around on his stunt dates. His management had intensified the dating so Harry would be in every magazine before he went to L.A. He would get to "break up" with Camille after that so he could write his album, saying that it was about her. Proper bullshit according to Louis but he kept his thoughts to himself.

He had packed and unpacked his suitcases for days, nervous but excited about L.A. He tried to spend as much time with Niall as he possibly could, knowing that he would miss his best friend like crazy. The only friend he had made since he moved to London.

When the day finally arrived he grabbed his suitcases and took his own car to Harry's. His bodyguard was waiting for them to take them to the airport. Harry had insisted that they would fly together and Louis loved that. Harry didn't treat him like an employer, but a friend. He was a really sweet, genuine guy that hadn't let fame get to him.

The bodyguard followed them inside. A group of girls saw them and Harry stopped for pictures and autographs before they checked in their luggage and headed to the gate. They took a seat and Harry handed Louis his ticket.
"First class?" Louis asked in disbelief.

"We're flying together so we sit together." Harry answered with a shoulder shrug like it wasn't a big deal.

Louis had never flown first class before. He had hardly been on a plane at all. Growing up with a single mum and a lot of siblings meant that money had been tight.

They boarded the plane and Harry's bodyguard left them. Louis looked around as soon as they entered the first class with an excited smile on his lips.
"Look at these seats!" He said.

Harry just smiled at him. They found their seats and sat down. Louis looked at all the things provided for him and made small outbursts for every new item he discovered, like the sleeping mask or the neck pillow. Harry didn't comment on it. He just watched him with a fond smile on display.
"First time flying first class?" He finally had to ask.

"What gave me away?" Louis smirked and Harry laughed softly.

"I was the same way when I flew first class for the first time. It's strange how fast you adapt to things." Harry said.

They buckled their seatbelts and the plane took off a couple of minutes later. As soon as they were in the air a flight attendant came to take their drink order. They both asked for a soda.

Louis discovered the tv in front of him and started to flip through the menu.
"Look, there's like everything on here. Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure." Harry smiled.

"What kind of movies do you like?" Louis asked.

"I'm a sucker for romantic movies." Harry grinned.

"Favorite?" Louis asked.

"Without a doubt, the notebook." Harry answered without hesitation.

"Really?" Louis said and raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. Have you seen it?" Harry asked.

"No." Louis smiled.

"What? Well, we're gonna see it now because I always bawl my eyes out but I'm gonna make you watch it when we're in L.A." Harry said.

"Deal. So what do you wanna watch now?" Louis questioned.

"You choose." Harry smiled.

Louis scrolled through the titles and settled for a classic, four weddings, and a funeral. He liked Hugh Grant's comical side. He glanced at Harry who nodded his head. They put their headphones on and Harry came closer so he could watch the screen before Louis pressed play.

They enjoyed the movie and laughed together. Half through it Harry fell asleep with his head leaned against Louis's shoulder. Louis watched the rest of the movie and tried to muffle his laughter so he wouldn't wake up the sleeping man by his side.

Harry woke up when the flight attendant brought their lunch. He jolted up and wiped his mouth.
"Oh, fuck. I'm sorry I drooled on you."

Louis looked at his shoulder and started laughing.
"It's okay."

They spent the rest of the long flight talking, getting to know each other better. They watched another movie and finally they slept.

A new security team waited for them at LAX and they drove them to Harry's L.A. house. Louis's eyes grew wide when he saw the fancy villa but he tried to act cool about it. They said goodbye to the bodyguards and Harry showed him inside the luxury estate.
"Nice house." Louis said, feeling lame.

"Thanks. I'm glad you're living here too. It gets a bit lonely to be honest. I have never been good on my own. I usually just crash on a friend's sofa until they get tired of me." Harry chuckled.

Louis's features soften.
"I'm pretty sure you'll be the one growing tired of me this time."

"Never." Harry smiled.

They walked out to the pool house.
"Feel free to use the pool whenever you want to." Harry offered.

"I most definitely will. Thanks, Harry." Louis smiled and Harry just waved his hand at him like it wasn't a big deal.

Harry unlocked the door to the poor house and they stepped inside.
"So, this is it. A small, but functional kitchen over there."

"I'm a lousy cook. I won't be needing it." Louis chuckled.

"Noted. Well, there's some barstools by the kitchen island if you wanna sit down for breakfast." Harry smiled.

Louis took a look around. There was a small couch in the middle of the room and a big flat screen. A bed was situated in the other end. Harry showed him the bathroom as well, which contained a shower, sink, and toilet.
"This is perfect!" Louis smiled.

"Are you sure you like it?" Harry asked.

"I love it." Louis assured him.

"Great. I'll give you some time to settle in. Do you wanna order some food and watch a movie later?" Harry asked.

"Sounds perfect." Louis immediately agreed and Harry left the pool house with one last long look in his direction.

Louis sat down on the couch. He couldn't believe he was really here, or that his hunky employee was just a couple of feet away. They would hopefully spend a lot of evenings together in these three months. He probably shouldn't be so excited about that.
