3. Babysitting

I was udderly shocked by the news Abby had told us , my mouth was dropped open until Brooke snapped me back to reality snapping her fingers in the face,

"Faye earth to Faye" she said which made me look around to see everyone packing to go home, I sighed

"Sorry Brooke , I was just surprised by the news" I lied Cathy has been trying to get me to transfer to Candy Apples since she first saw me perform my Fighter routine,

I quickly packed up my things until Kelly stopped me I smiled hopefully it wad something good for once,

"Faye me your Mom and Dad and my husband is going out tonight for a little bit would you mind babysitting Paige and Brooke for me?" Kelly asked it was Friday so I didnt have school the next day but it would be awkward babysitting Broke but I could use the extra couple of dollars , I nodded

"Yeah sure no problem Mom's letting me drive home so I can come get Brooke and Paige around 6:30 or so and drop my parents off at your place" I asked Kelly smiled and nodded

"Umm Faye one more thing" Kelly started as I zipped up my bag and and slung it over "Yeah Kell?" I asked

"Diane is coming to so Brandon is going to be at your house as well" Kelly said I felt a smile creep upon my lips which caused Kelly to bump me with her hip as we entered the dressing room together,

"Yeah sounds good" I replied heading off to get Clara from Ballet class, As I walked down the hallway I seen Payton talking to Brandon I hid behind a hallway so they wouldnt see me, I over heard there whole conversation as I hid behind the corner,

"Peyton your nice and all but I dont like you that way" Brandon exclaimed trying his best not to explode,

"Brandon what do you see in Faye anyways" Payton said yelling at him I sighed and I looked at the time I was late from picking Clara up I suddenly walked out from behind the corner,Brandon and Paige's heads shot in my direction,

"Hey Faye" Payton said sweetly I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I pushed past her, I didnt know why I got jealous but I didnt care, I picked Clara up from class

"Faye!" Clara cheered as I entered her class she ran towards me as I hoisted her up and placed her on my hip , "Hey Clar-Bear ready to go?" I asked her she nodded in response, when I opened the door there stood Brandon waiting for me, I smirked at him as we walked down the hallway outside together , I rummaged through my bag looking for my keys, I finally found them as I opened Clara's side of the car door and buckled her in her car seat I locked the door and shut it , I turned around totally forgetting about Brandon ,

"So I have to 'Babysit' you tonight" I said jokingly making air quotations around Babysit, Brandon chuckled and nodded

"Yeah Im such a baby" he said smiling showing his gorgeous white teeth , I seen my mom and Chloe walk out of the studio with Kelly Paige and Brooke ,

"Hey Mom" I said after I hugged Brandon good-bye as he walked off to his car with his mom,

"Hey Faye, change of plans Paige is going to come home with us now and when you drive me and your dad to Kelly's Brooke and Brandon will be there to be picked up by you" I nodded

"Alright sounds good" I said but Chloe and Paige shared a smirk , this cannot be good since they are twins almost,

"Mom can Paige please sleepover" Chloe begged our mom , Mom sighed and looked at Kelly who sighed too,

"FINE!" They said together in unison Chloe and Paige squealed and jumped in the car with Clara, Mom and Kelly said good bye as they departed ,

"See you tonight Brooke" I said as I hopped int he drivers seat of the car, I put the keys in the ignition and put the car in drive as I drove back home Paige and Chloe talked an giggled, Clara fell asleep while me and mom talked about things , till Chloe spoke up,

"So Faye when's your date with Brandon?" Chloe asked teasing me, Paige gasped

"Your going on a date with Brandon" she asked shocked Chloe giggled, I sighed and nodded,

"Maybe Wednesday next week we're not sure yet" I said smiling while driving, Mom chuckled

"When did he ask you this?" My Mom questioned being a mom and all, I chuckled

"After practice today, Kelly was texting me saying how cute of a couple we would be and he seen the messages and after practice he asked me" I replied, Mom nodded as we reached the house I pulled in the drive-way and put the car in park and taking the keys out of the ignition as I grabbed my bag and walked inside the house, I looked around I guess Dad was still at work ,

"Faye its so cool that you can drive, Brooke cant drive yet but I cant wait till she can" Paige said coming into the living room with me we sat down on the couch as I turned on the TV it was a episode of Dance moms where Vivi-Anne first auditions for the competition team, I sighed as I went upstairs to get changed since I was babysitting all night and we had Paige sleeping over too , I quickly took my hair out of its messy bun and brushed it back into my famous high ponytail, I stripped down to my undergarments as I hauled on my light blue skinny jeans and a my Ramones shirt, I put on my TOMS as well,



I checked my phone to see a text from Brandon,

Hey Faye can we talk when I gets to your house? -Brandon

I sighed this cant be good, I quickly texted back

Yeah no problem -Faye!

I shoved my phone in my front pocket as I placed my dance clothes in my laundry basket and I headed downstairs, to see Paige and Chloe whispering and giggling probably about mine and Brandons date,

"Wow Faye you look really nice" Paige said smiling I chuckled

"Thanks" I said smiling, I looked around for Mom and Dad it was 6 now and I had to get Brooke and Brandon at 6:30 ,

"MOM COME ON" I yelled upstairs to her Dad texted me when I was getting ready saying he was going to meet us at Kelly's , Soon Mom appeared from upstairs,

"How do I look" she asked doing a spin for us she was wearing her strapless blue summer dress,

"Wow" Paige said

"Pretty" Chloe said

"Lovely" I said smiling Mom chuckled as she grabbed her phone and we headed out the door,

"Chloe Paige come lock the door Faye will be back in 20 minutes with Brooke and Brandon" Mom said to them they both nodded as me and Mom headed to the car and Chloe and Paige locked the door behind us , I jumped in the Driver seat and mom got in the passenger side, I put the keys in the ignition and put the car in drive as I pulled out of the driveway and headed to Kelly's,

"Where is your father?" Mom asked as I focused on the road,

"He said he was going to meet you at Kelly's" I smiled as I pulled up by Kellys house, I honked the horn to let them know I was here,

"Have fun tonight mom" I told her as she kissed my cheek and went in suddenly Brooke and Brandon appeared running to the car, Brandon hoped in the passenger side as Brooke sat in the back,

"Not cool Brandon I called shotgun" Brooke groaned buckling her seatbelt he chuckled,

"You Snooze you lose Hyland" He smirked turning to me "Hey Faye" he said softly

"Hi Brandon" I giggled as I drove back to my house I turned on the radio as Good time by Carly Rae Jepson and Owl City came on I started to dance in my seat and bopping my head to the music, driving at the same time,

"Faye focus on the road" Brandon joked as I rested my eyes on the road in front of me soon enough we reached my house, I pulled into the driveway, I got out and Unlocked my front door to see Chloe and Paige on the Chloes laptop looking at different things probably on Tumblr or something,

I set the keys down on the coffee table as Brooke sat with the girls and Brandon followed me to the kitchen,

"Faye can we talk now" Brandon asked as I took out some meat and things to make spaghetti for supper ,

"Yeah sure" I said while making the sauce for the noodles , "Faye can you at least pay attention to me for 5 seconds?" Brandon said through gritted teeth I sighed as I put the noodles in the water to cook, I turned around to come face to face with Brandon,

"Faye I - I I........Nevermind" he said going out to the backyard I sighed as I continued to cook supper, when supper was done cooking I called to the girls and Brandon came inside to eat, about 30 minutes it took us to eat since Clara went to bed early, Paige and Chloe did the dishes as me and Brooke sat on the island in the kitchen looking through the glass doors that lead to our backyard to see Brandon sitting on the grass looking up at the dusk blue sky since it was 7:30 now it was getting dark , I sighed looking at a sad Brandon ,

"Faye go talk to him"Brooke said nudging me to go out to the backyard I shook my head no,

"Faye!" Paige and Chloe said together putting away the last of the dishes, "Go talk to him" Chloe said I shrugged and jumped off the counter to go out to the backyard , I slid open the glass door and shut it behind me I walked barefoot across the grass and sat down next to Brandon who now laying down in the grass looking at the stars in the sky

"Hey Brandon" I said softly looking down at him his eyes went from looking at the stars to looking at me,

"Hey Faye" he said frowning ,

"What did you want to talk about"I asked Brandon as he sat up next to me now, he gently placed his hand on my cheek,

"Faye I like you alot" he said with a serious look on his face looking into my eyes, He leaned in to kiss me but I backed away

"Brandon your a sweet guy and all but I cant kiss you Im sorry" I said standing up leaving Brandon in the backyard by himself I ran upstairs to my room crying I just turned down one of the sweetest guys in the history of sweet guys, why did I do that! I ran into my room flopping down on my bed face first into my pillow I guess the girls heard as they rushed into my room

"Faye whats wrong?" Chloe asked sitting next to me rubbing my back,

"Brandon tried to kiss me" I mumbled into my pillow, obviously she didnt hear me

"Huh?" Chloe asked I rose my head off of my pillow facing my headboard,

"Brandon tried to kiss me and I ran away" I cried flopping my head back into my pillow, all the girl's gasped and went silent,

"Wanna be left alone?" Chloe asked as I heard footsteps leave the room I guess Paige and Brooke went into Chloe's room , I shook my head , sitting up my blood shot tear stained eyes looking at Chloe,

"Im such a screw up" I cried Chloe pulled me into a hug I rested my head on her shoulder

"No your not Faye" she said rubbing my back, I sighed, "Chloe its almost 9:30 go to bed okay?" I told her she nodded Brooke was sleeping over too, but I guess she was sleeping in Chloes room tonight, I walked into her room to see Brooke fast asleep on Chloes bed and Paige watching tv I smiled at a sleeping Brooke I closed Chloes door and checked on Clara who was sound asleep, I sighed why cant I just be 2 again no boys no stress no school just a care free world,

I walked downstairs to see Brandon alseep on my couch , I sat down next to him he was asleep on his side , I let out a breath and rubbed his arm gently

"Brandon Im so sorry!" I whispered, I kissed his soft smooth cheek as I got up and locked my front door and went to bed, As I lid down I was scared to face Brandon tomorrow,
