Dance In The Rain

13. After Party

We were so Happy about placing first in every category at Star Bound that Abby decided to have a little party for the dancers since School was almost out for the summer. To bad for us because Abby is non-stop with the Competitions so we travel everywhere in the summer, I got dressed into a simple outfit nothing overly big , Me and Chloe thought itd be cute if Clara her and myself dressed in a similar outfit so we a Floral Print would look amazing on all 3 of us! I got Clara washed and dressed and did her hair as I did Chloes hair and my own, Mom and Dad were helping out at the hotel grand hall Abby rented out for us so Brandon was picking us up,I curled mine and Chloes hair I did a waterfall braid with Chloes though and I put Claras hair into high pigtails with her bang in the front, we were all dressed and ready to go

I walked downstairs with Clara in my arms as I set her down and grabbed my purse making sure I had everything in my purse I needed, My phone, my wallet and some other random items lip gloss mascara Etc. I heard a car pull up into the drive-way I opened my front door to see Brandon getting out of his car and walking up my front steps, I smiled widely as I walked closer to him and kissed him lightly, he pulled away and looked amazed at me,

"Wow." he exclaimed, which caused me to blush but I tried my best to hide it I did a terrible job as I smiled like a idiot

"Thanks, are you ready to go?" I asked him He nodded as we headed to his car, I pulled on a pair of brown flats , Chloe has red ones on and Clara had green and white flats with a strap across the top, We drove to the hotel hoping there would be people there it was 6:30 and the Party was at 7 we had quite the drive since it was on the other side of town, I took out my phone and seen a text from Nick,

Hey can you and Brandon spot me a ride my moms car broke down! -Nick D:

I sighed as I texted him back

No problem we'll be there soon - Faye!

"Brandon" I said softly hoping he would do this him and Nick are pretty good friends,

"Yes Faye" he replied keeping his eyes on the road, I sighed

"Nick needs a lift his Moms car broke down and he has no way of getting to the party" I said sweetly , Brandon nodded

"Yeah no problem, Hes my best mate of course we'll pick him up" Brandon said smiling as he turned down a street to Nick's house I looked out the window to see it started to rain, I hated the rain it sucked,

"Here we are" Brandon said as we pulled up in front of Nick's house, Brandon beeped the horn seconds later Nick appeared in his front door saying good-bye to his Mum and Dad,

"Chloe move over so Nick can get in" I said Chloe nodded and moved over next to Clara as Nick opened the door and hopped in the car

"Hello" He said happily

"Hey mate"Brandon said turning towards Nick

"Thanks a million man for the lift" Nick thanked us, we both nodded as Brandon turned back around in his seat and started driving towards the hotel we got there by 7:10 wasnt to bad, I jumped out of the car and unbuckled Clara out of her seat as we raced inside so we wouldnt get wet,

"Faye!" Brooke called as I entered inside the hall it was beautiful it was very big with gold silver and white decorations plus red and black for Abby Lee Dance Company colors , I sat with Nick Brooke Brandon, Gianna and Josh from the senior class sat with us too. Abby got up she looked very pretty I have got to say , Chloe sat with Nia Maddie Paige Mackenzie and Kendall, the parents sat together and Clara went with Mom and Dad,

"I guess she has a announcement" Brandon joked nudging me I rolled my eyes and brought my attention back to Abby

"Ladies and Gentleman Fellow Abby Lee Dancers, I welcome you here tonight not for a end of the year bash but a awards and respect ceremony"Abby started I sighed as she kept talking

"Each year we pick a young Ladie and Gentlemen from each age Category Beginner,Junior and Senior classes" Abby stated "First I would like you show you some of the dances from the past year from all our dancers" she said gesturing to the big screen on stage as well I turned to watch the video , It showed all the different dances we had done Mine and Brookes duet , Paytons solo, Brandon and Nick doing a duet and even some of the group routines,

"They were all amazing routines" Abby said after the video finished "But their was one in particular I liked over all" I looked at her confused as she smirked and we all brought our attention to the screen , I gasped to see it was mine and Brandons Bleeding Love routine I got to say we hit everything perfectly all the timings were great and the emotions amazing , I started sob as I burst into tears it was a beautiful number with my beautiful boyfriend during a beautiful competition , guess you can say it was Beautiful?

"Now I would like Faye Lukasiak to come up and speak for us?" Abby said gesturing towards a now sobbing mess , I laughed a bit and got up as I headed to the front of the grand hall and got onto stage, Abby gave me a worried look I mouthed 'Im Okay' while giggling abit she nodded , I got up to the mic looking out to all the dancers and their parents I sighed and let out a breath that could be over heard through the mic

"That wasnt suppose to happen" I whispered and it went through the mic everyone laughed, I chuckled abit

"Im not really sure what Im suppose to say I mean look at me I'm a mess" I said gesturing to my tears coming down everyone chuckled "But I guess the reason Abby wanted me to come here was to talk about you guys" I said pointing around to the dancers

"I just wanted to say I have never worked with more amazing people then I have worked with here, Everyone means so much to me! I wish you the best in the future when you Graduate from the Abby Lee Dancer Studio as my Father would put it Party Hard and Live Long" I said lifting my glass up to everyone who said cheers, I got a round of applause as I was about to leave Abby stopped me

"We would like to ask Brandon Pent to come forwards" Abby said into the mic Brandon looked shocked I shrugged as he got up from his seat and came up on stage with me, He held my hand as we had our attention towards Abby

"Faye and Brandon , I have got to say you learned that routine in under 3 days you were in stop with rehearsals and you had a rough patch going through it but you pulled through and won a Star Bound National Title, Thats why we are awarding you both with a $10,000 dollar scholarship to a College of your choice!" Abby said exclaiming the last part, I thought I was a wreck when I did my speech when Abby announced the scholarships I burst into tears and so did Brandon which was a surprise , I hugged Abby as she handed me and Brandon the certificate for the Scholarships I looked out to the crowd to see my Mum and Dad crying and Chloe who was standing and cheering with the rest of the crowd I smiled as we headed back to our seats , after about 2 or 3 minutes everyone stopped clapping as Abby continued with the Awards Maddie got Junior Miss Dance surprise surprise! I felt bad for Chloe that was the only award she wanted and she didnt get it, I sighed as a few more speechs were given and Abby dismissed us for the dance, I was up to any more dancing , the night went by very quickly I danced with Brandon and the girls even Nick hauled me up for a dance it was a over-all great night I walked outside with Brandon to his car , it was still raining and Brandon was smirking

"Hey Faye" I heard Brandon say I turned to him as he picked me up and spun me around I giggled as I held onto him for dare life, he set me down and looked me in the eyes

"Faye I love you so much you have no idea" he smiled at me I blushed and turned away it was still raining badly ,Brandon turned my head in his direction and his soft lips met mine , I kissed back and in sync as we both deepened it , I pulled away and rested my forehead on his and wrapped mt arms around him ,

"If I get sick this is your fault" I laughed as we both got in his car and we drove home,
