19. Go!

 A week has passed since me and Brandon had figured this huge dispute out, I explained to Vince the whole situation and he was understanding of it, Im officially back with Brandon but not officially back in dance, I love cheer I have so many more friends not that I dont mind my friends at ALDC, their more of my age and understand things better, I've talked to Abby and she said I was welcome back anytime, I am still competing at Star Power with my peace routine School gets let out for summer in 2 weeks but right now I have cheer practice, I walked into the Gym where all the girl's were practicing and warming up Gianna Bree and Jess understood my situation with Brandon but they were all happy to hear of my promise ring, I sat down next to Jess,

"Hey Jess!" I exclaimed as I started to stretch my legs reaching for my foot,

"Hey" she mumbled with less excitement , I sighed

"Whats wrong?" I asked confused

"Nothing its just they moved the competition up to this weekend the same week as your Star Power competition" Jess said My jaw dropped open

"W-What" I stuttered a bit

"They moved the competition up to this week apparently its the only spot open for the Cheer Expo!" Jess said, I sighed now I have to choose between Dance and Cheer I had a solo at Star Power which was sure to Place but then I was one of the star flyers for the High School Cheer Expo

"What am I suppose to do now?" I asked Jess who was a little upset about it , the girl's have been supportive of me when it came to Cheer and Dance but now it was time to choose

"Go to Star Power" Jess said looking at me with a stern face, Gianna and Bree came and sat with us

"Pardon" I said to Jess, she sighed

"I said go to Star Power, the expo is only the regional one you can pretty much compete at Provincials and Nationals if we make it but Star Power is in Florida Faye! You cant miss it!" she exclaimed I looked at Gianna and Bree who agreed with Jess , I sighed I don't know what to do , the Cheer expo was a local one and I did want to go to it but Star Power is in Florida,

"I just can't leave you girl's here with no Flyer!" I exclaimed Bree looked at me "Faye we can manage now get out of here and go to dance!" she exclaimed as all the girls starting chucking their pom pom's at me causing us to burst into laughter

"OKAY OKAY" I said getting up as Jess Bree and Gianna wrapped me in a group hug

"Tiger Pride Tiger Pride!" we all cheered laughing as I headed into the student parking lot to my car jumping in and driving to ALDC it was Monday and the competition was Saturday but we had to fly to Florida for Star Power, I parked my car in the front of the building , Melissa was at the desk

"Ready for this weekend Faye?" she asked ,I nodded "As ready as I'll ever be" I replied walking into studio A I didnt need to change because my cheer practice outfit was just a sports Bra and spandex shorts that said Tigers on the butt, I walked in to see no one around, Perfect time to practice a routine , I went through some old cd's till I found one perfect for a solo, I put the track in and the music blasted through out the studio, it was a kind of Bollywood hip hop routine to Jai Ho

I did a leap and the song ended , I honestly wish it didn't I liked this routine it was one of Nia's old ones she refused to do, I guess the racial ethnic of it Holly didn't like I sat down on the floor , looking around the studio why was I still here? did I want Cheer or Dance? I couldn't make my mind up I was only here to practice for Star Power but something was telling me it was the right thing to do, I groaned as I lid on hard cold floor , I heard a door open slightly I turned my head to see Mackenzie shutting the door behind her

"Hey'ya Mac" I greeted as she turned around

"Hi Faye" she exclaimed cheerfully as she sat down next to me, I sat up so I could talk to her

"Are you nervous for Star Power Faye?" she asked sweetly I shook my head

"Why would I be I always compete in it" I replied she giggled a bit and nodded

"Yeah, Im nervous snapshot wont go so well" she whispered, I looked at her wide eyed ,

"Why would you say that Mac" I asked completely confused, she shrugged

"All Brooke and Brandon does is argue and insult each other the chemistry is totally off" she said, I laughed a bit it was hard to believe a 6 year old knew all this

"Dont even worry about them Mac , its just Brooke and Brandon they'll figure it out" I reassured her, she nodded as we both stood up walking out of the studio and going home,
