12. Star Bound

It had been 3 days since me and Brandon got back together and today was the day big day of the competition Me and Brandon had practiced for hours each day getting this routine down and perfect, Miss Abby hasnt seen it yet , The competition was Star Bound in LA the national finals, I woke up the morning of the competition , I had dreamt last night me and Brandon didnt even place with our routine Im just hoping it was a dream I got up from my bed and went into the bathroom to get a shower I stripped down and walked into the shower, I turned the water on medium as it washed me down I quickly washed my hair and jumped out of the shower I hauled on my sweat pants and black Hurley t shirt and dried my hair, I realized I didnt have a costume for the dance I called Brandon right away,

"Hello"Brandon's husky voice answered I guess I woke him up

"Oh hey , Sorry did I wake you" I asked now I felt bad,

"Yeah but its nice waking up to my girlfriends sweet voice" he chuckled over the phone , I giggled

"Some sweet" I giggled "Hey do you have a idea for costumes for our dance"

"SHIT! I totally forgot!" he exclaimed , I sighed

"Well just wear a suit and tie and I'll pull something together" I said reassuring him

"Alright see you in a few Faye I love you" he said I smiled

"Love you too!" I replied as I pressed end on the phone and packed my bag for star bound

I grabbed a few things to pull together for a costume and I seen my old ballet costume for the fireflies dance and grabbed that too knowing Abby if Hip Hop went well she'd enter another Dance , I rushed downstairs with all my bags to see Chloe waiting Patiently for me

"Come on Faye we gotta get to the bus for Star Bound in 20 minutes, " Chloe said a little uneasy , she was always nervous about star bound since shes the runner up to maddie all the time!

We ran out to the Car as our Mom drove to the Studio Clara was staying home with Dad for the weekend since he had it off of work , I was a bit anxious about this competition Abby never let me choreograph a routine for Star Bound ever! No one besides me and Brandon has seen the routine yet Im just nervous what they will think since Abby is known for bad Hip Hop routines, we finally arrived at the Studio 5 minutes before the bus leaves I seen Brandon as he walked up to my car and helping me with my bags and costume ,

"I brought the briefcase for the routine and I saved us sweet in the back " he said smiling cheekily, I giggled

"Good!" I exclaimed giggling as I grabbed my purse and Brandons hand as he intertwined our fingers and got on the bus we sat in the back so we wouldnt have to listen to Abby telling the bus driver how to drive or putting Pressure on the girls , the Trio was up first so everyone was rushing to do their hair and make up , me and Brandon sat in the back talking about random things and laughing at everyone rushing to get ready ,

"What do you think Abby's reaction to the routine will be?" Brandon said leaning down and whispering in my ear, I shrugged

"No clue!" I replied whispering and starring at Abby who was eating chocolates she only does this when shes nervous, I got up and walked down the bus aisle stepping over Nia who was sprawled across the floor streching

"Excuse me little Miss Acrobat" I giggled as I stepped over her, getting a few giggles from the girls and Nia bursting into laughter

I walked down to the front of the bus sitting next to Abby in her seat , Abby and me always had a special bond I look to her as a second mom , alot of the moms or girls dont like her but I dont think they realized all those wins was because of Abby!

"Hey Abby" I said softly as I sat down , she glanced at me as she offered me a chocolate, I politely said no

"Hello Faye" she said after finishing what she had in her mouth ,

"Nervous bout Star Bound" I giggled realizing she had almost all the chocolates gone

"Me Nervous never" she said chuckling , I nodded

"Dont worry Ive seen all the girls practicing theres no chance in hell they are going to lose with your choreography and Me and Brandon have been working now stop on our routine we promise you that we wont let you down!" I said smiling Abby nodded, as she put the cover on her chocolates and put them away

"I really hope so Faye, Cathy is going to be at Star Bound I heard some of her dancers are competing against you and Brandon!" she said uneasy, My face was in shock

"W-What dancers" I asked shocked , Cathy had amazing dancers who could possibly be a threat to me and Brandon

"Sarah Parish and Erika Schrade" Abby said I nodded two of Cathy's best dancers! Sarah is 16 and Erika 15 so they would be in our age group , I sighed as I got up and went to the back with Brandon, but before I could reach them I got stopped by Paige Chloe and Maddie to do their hair for Over and Over, I sighed as I got in a empty aisle and sat by the window as I turned my self so I was facing the back of each girl , I did Paige's first I tied her hair in a ponytail as I teased it like crazy and curled it I did the same with Maddie and Chloe , Chloe was the last one done , I packed all the hair products up and was about to leave then Chloe stopped me,

"Faye" she said her voice a little shaky , I got concerned

"Yes Chlo?" I asked

"Do you think we'll place?" she said worried, I smiled

"Chloe, you three girls are amazing dancers, some of the best Abby got if she thought you wouldnt place do you think that you would be put into this trio? No she wouldnt but you will place trust me, your only competition at Star Bound is yourself" I finished smiling and Chloe was smiling widely she nodded

"Thanks Faye" she said as I kissed her forehead and went back to sit with Brandon, we both cuddled until we dozed off ,


I was awoken by people giggling and laughing , I opened my eyes to see Brandons arms wrapped around my waist and his head snuggled into the crook of my neck, I sighed as I lifted my head of his chest and looked around to see everyone giggling and smiling,

"Good sleep?" Kelly teased, I smirked

"Very" I replied to see we were about 5 minutes away from Star Bound, I turned to Brandon, I kissed his nose

"Brandon, Sweetie, Wake up , we're at Star Bound!" I said softly shaking him, no response which was weird Brandon was a light sleeper, I kissed his lips which instantly caused him to kissed back , I pulled away and gasped as I smacked his arm

"YOU WERE AWAKE THIS WHOLE TIME" I exclaimed loudly which caused everyone including Abby to burst into laughter

"Sorry I enjoy your kisses" He said giving me a cheeky smirk! I rolled my eyes as we stopped at Star Bound and got all our bags as we walked into the dressing room, it was your basic dressing room nothing overly big , they had a changing station which was 2 big curtains across a corner in the room held up by steel poles, I sighed as the trio was rushed off for their routine line up which would take 30 minutes or so, I guess it was time for me and Brandon to get ready he changed first , as he came out I smiled he was wearing a black suit with a tie like we planned on and his briefcase, I walked up to him as I tightened up his tie he smiled down at me as I smiled up at him,

"You clean up good Pent!" I giggled nudging him , he chuckled as he kissed my cheek and I grabbed my costume and got dressed I had my make up done already! I hauled on my leggings with a crop top and vest while I pulled my Nikes on, My hair was wavy with a twirl pinned on the side,



I came out and everyone started whistling , I started blushing my costume was just pulled together a few pieces from my old hip hop routines,

"Wow Faye you look amazing!" Abby said I thanked her as I put on my good luck charm necklace , Suddenly we heard a knock on the door and witch like laugh, Great Cathy

"Hello from your favorite Apples" she said slyly I scoffed

"More like rotten apples" I mumbled under my breath, Mom must of heard cause she started to laugh, and patted my back

"Thats my girl" she whispered in my ear, I smiled I walked straight up to Cathy

"Oh Faye my favorite Abby Lee dancer!" she exclaimed holding out her arms to hug me I scoffed

"Aweh Cathy my favorite rotten apple, Not sure if you knew but to make Top 10 you have to have at least good choreography that can compete with us!" I smirked crossing my arms which got Ohhs and chuckling from everyone,

Cathy scoffed as she barged out of the dressing room, I sighed as one of the crew from Star Bound told me and Brandon it was time for our routine, I nodded as we followed her down the hallways to back stage, I looked out on stage to see Sarah and Erika it was a theatrical routine, they were really good their kicks perfect spins amazing, I gulped to notice I was shaking Brandon grabbed my hand , their routine ended 3 or 4 minutes after, I sighed mine and Brandons was only about 2 minutes or so I gulped

"Please Welcome Number 77 Abby Lee Dance Company- Bleeding Love" the announcer said as me and Brandon walked out on stage and stood back to back, I sighed as the music began to play

I took a deep breath as me and Brandon hit every move and swayed at every part, I heard the crowd cheering widely and I could see Chloe and Mom tearing up, I wrapped my arms around Brandon as he pushed me off but smiled before he did it

"I love you" he whispered in my hair before he pushed away, I kept my smile in, I ran towards him as he went to grab the briefcase and kicked in , he glared at me like we planned and started to dance in sync again spinning and kicking each move together, I stretched my arm out as he slid his head down my arm, I pushed through all the emotions I was feeling right now, I turned and kicked side to side and kick , then the music started to slow down each beat was a move then the bass came on and Brandon pushed on my chest and I pushed it back as he stole my heart and started to walk away I danced and stopped as I stood up and looked back as Brandon did the same and walked off stage, the music ended and everyone cheered and went insane I walked off the stage to meet Brandon back stage I seen him as I ran up to him and he wrapped me in a hug spinning me around

"That was amazing" He said smiling widely I nodded as he set me down,

"Did you manage to see Abby?" I asked being worried he nodded

"The smile on her face priceless" he exclaimed I smirked as we ran back to the dressing room getting swarmed by a group hug from all the girls

"That was amazing" Kelly said all the moms agreed

"Thanks, we worked hard on it," I said as I turned to Abby " I hope you liked it Miss Abby" She smiled and nodded as she came up to me with wide arms open

"Faye you're a beautiful dancer and that routine was amazing" she said as I ran hugging her getting Awehs and seeing some Moms crying I looked up at Abby who was crying as well

"If your routine dont win I'll be disappointed" she said her voice a little rough trying to hold back the sobbing I giggled and nodded as the group routine was next I walked hand and hand with Brandon till we reached the auditorium and sat in our seats the music started playing and all the girls were in sync with each other , I never got to see the trio but I guess I'll see it on the new episode coming out , I loved the finish of the song Nia stomped her foot and all the girls fell as she marched off stage , I seen Brooke limp off I hope her back is okay , she shouldnt be doing all those Acro routines its not good for her! I rushed off with Brandon as soon as the routine was over , As I walked into the dressing room Brooke was sprawled on the floor crying which caused me to get worried

"Brooke you okay?" I asked her she shook her head as I kneeled next to her rubbing his head ,

"It hurts Faye" she sobbed I nodded "I know Brooke" I coo'ed her I hate seeing my best friend like this, Abby told us it was time to go to the awards portion of the competition I nodded as me and Brandon helped Brooke to her feet as we grabbed our ALDC competition jackets and made our way to the stage, we all sat down just in front of Candy Apples,

"Welcome to Star Bound National dance competition here in glorious Los Angeles" the announcer said we all cheered it was about 3 when we came here it was about 10 at night now, the Solo's were first one of Cathy's dancers came 3rd but we didnt have any solo's so we didnt care then it was Trios and Duets,

"Now for 3rd place for Trios" the announcer said "Long Island Dance Center"

The girls stood up they could pass for triplets all tall with long blonde hair but no older then 11 or 12 the oldest about Brooke's age, I seen one eyeing Brandon so I grabbed his hand and snuggled into him to show he was mine, she scoffed and turned to the audience as the second place team was called

"Second place our own Los Angeles Thunder Studio" as three more girls stood up very young maybe Chloes age,

"And for first place with Over and Over Abby Lee Dance Studio" the announcer cheered as Paige Maddie and Chloe stood up cheering, Cathy's trio didnt place thank god! Chlo came and sat next me after they finished the Trio awards next was the duets I gulped as they announced third Los Angeles Thunder Studio

"Second Place with Rehab Candy Apple Dance Center!" the man said I gulped this wasnt good! the room went silent as the first place Duet was being called













"And Now for first place with a amazing Hip Hop Routine Abby Lee Dance Center Faye and Brandon with Bleeding Love!" He roared through the micro phone ,

I gasped as Sarah and Erika glared at me , Me and Brandon stood up and excepted our award and the announcer asked us our dance center

"Who is your dance choreographer?" her asked I looked at Brandon and he nodded

"Abby Lee Miller!" we both cheered , the Group Routine placed first over all as well, We all ran back to the dressing room as we walked in we got cheers and roars of congrats from everyone ,

"AND THATS HOW YOU MAKE APPLE SAUCE!" I cheered with everyone agreeing we all sat and talked until it was time to leave Star Bound for another year!
