I tried not to laugh beside Robin as we both 'unexpectedly' ran into Artemis while going to the teleporter to the cave. If she was really trying to hide her identity, she should probably choose a different identity name than her real one.

Or perhaps get a different mask because Dick and I both noticed her at school today talking to the student liaison that Gotham Academy had set her up with. Barabra, Dick's friend, had been confused by Dick going over and taking a random picture of them together, but I knew he just wanted a memento for whenever Artemis ever figured out mine and Dick's identity.

"Artemis?" Dick called out, acting slightly confused but I could see the amusement in his relaxed stance and raised an eyebrow.

"Robin. I...uh," she startled like she had hoped not to fun into him but now that she had, she was floundering.

"How random that you're in Gotham City, instead of Star City where your Uncle Green Arrow lives," Robin commented, his voice filled with amusement because everyone here knew it was a lie, but no one was calling it out.

"I'm, uh, here to see my cousin," Artemis commented, crossing her arms and becoming slightly defensive. "She was in the state spelling bee here in Gotham City."

Now that was just a poor unthought out lie. Gotham City's Spelling Bee's were later in the year, I only knew that because Dick had mentioned he's done a few of them in the past because it was a great way to study his English since his first language was, and always will be, Romanian.

"C-O-O-L. Did she W-I-N?" Robin spelled out, playing along with the lie, seeming to have way too much fun. I shook my head slightly, ducking my head to hide the smile that was slowly being pulled onto my lips.

"N-O," Artemis dragged out, looking annoyed at Robin for still talking to her about it, especially as it was clear that he knew that the story was a lie.

"D-R-A-G," Robin spoke, acting like he was slightly sorry to hear her cousin didn't win the fake spelling bee.

"Yeah, let's just go to the cave," Artemis said, giving up on the conversation.

Robin smirked and gestured to the door. "Ladies first."

"Your town, you go," Artemis declared, glaring at Robin.

Rob and I shared a look, shrugged, and went in together.

"Recognized: Nyx, B-Zero-Eight"

"Recognized: Robin, B-Zero-One"

The computer recognized us as we stepped off the platform. I felt my breath leave me for a second as smoke and fire were edging around the teleportation platform.

A blast of fire made us hop away from one another, Robin automatically picking up one of his Robin-A-Wings and firing at where the blast came from.

"Recognized: Artemis, B-Zero-Seven"

"Down!" I shouted and pushed Artemis out of the way of another blast, grabbing my own temporary Bat-A-Wings from my side. I threw them with Robin and could hear it click and stick against something metal before it blew up.
