I don't really know why I was going to Bibbo's Diner. Perhaps it was curiosity, the curiosity of the unknown and maybe it was because I just wanted to see their reactions.

Arriving 30 minutes early, I asked for a corner booth and was awarded a booth near the kitchens that had the perfect view of the entire diner.

I told them I was early and quickly asked my waitress for a glass of water and to tell her I was waiting for two other people.

15 minutes later, a tall Caucasian male with a dark and imposing figure, short black hair, and dark brown eyes entered the diner followed by a slight and lean Caucasian male teenager who had short black hair and dark blue eyes.

I instantly recognized them as Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, my family. I watched as the waitress quickly recognized that they were part of the people I was waiting for and directed them to my table.

I had to clench my hands to keep them from shaking and gave them a tight smile. They returned the smile but seemed more gentle and welcoming.

I quickly slid over to let them also sit in the booth and watched as they settled down and ordered multiple waters from the waitress.

Nervously, I picked at the menu but didn't open it as I had the past 15 minutes to decide on what I wanted to eat.

It wasn't until Bruce had put his menu down that the conversation started. "So, why don't you tell Dick and I, your name?" he asked gently.

I fidgeted a little, getting slightly restless but quickly answered my father's question, "My real name is Persephone, but I like to call myself Percie."

My brother gave a grin and held his hand out. Hesitantly, I reached out and shook it. While we were doing this my brother's grin never diminished. "Well Percie, my name is Richard Grayson-Wayne but I go by Dick."

I quickly bit my tongue lightly to keep from asking why in the world he wanted his nickname to be an offensive word and instead, gave him a genuine smile.

My father took that moment to slowly hold out his hand as well. With a soft smile, we shook hands and he said, "Percie, my name is Bruce Wayne and I guess I'm your father."

Even though it wasn't a question, I nodded softly. "Hello, Bruce Wayne. I'm your unknown daughter Percie."

It was after that, that the silence was overtaken with small chatter by mostly Dick and me. Asking each other ridiculous questions and just getting to know one another. All the while, Bruce sat to the side with a relaxed smile as he took in the surroundings every few minutes.

The chatter did stop for a second when the waitress asked for our orders but picked up nearly as quickly once she was gone.

"So, how old are you? Just wondering," Dick asked, seeming hesitant but I gave him a smile and saw him relax slightly.

"I am technically ten, but I have been aware for roughly a year now. I think. It's kinda hard to tell when I woke up and when I accidentally woke up," I told them honestly

"Accidentally woke up?" Bruce asked softly but the question was burning in his eyes softly.

I licked my suddenly dry lips and told them, "I woke up before I was supposed to and they had to drug me to keep me asleep. Only I wasn't totally asleep and had no idea how long passed with me just staring at blackness and new information going into my head." I shivered as I remembered the cold feeling that surrounded me.

The feeling of pain and confusion as I knew things I hadn't yesterday and heard things all around me that held no meaning to me.

They saw me shiver and Dick instantly wrapped his arm around me. It took me a few seconds to get used to the feeling and hesitantly accepted the comfort.
