The hallway was dark. There was an odd light on but it was hard to find your way. Emille took nearly every turn he found.

"Shouldn't there be soldiers down here?" Julie asked.

Emille turned again and a small light illuminated the area.

"There watching us, they know where we are and where were going." Emille replied with ease.

"How do you know?" Julie said.

"They think we're criminals, they wouldn't let us leave this easy." Emille again replied. He saw light up ahead and figured it must be an exit. He lead Julie down the hall. It remained quiet and empty. Above them was a grate that exited to outside. Emille pushed it up and it popped off. He boosted Julie and she climbed out. He saw a hand come down the grate offering him help out. He grabbed it and then released it wasn't Julie's. He was hoisted out surrounded by guns. He raised his hands. Julie had her hands raised.

"Great." Emille said sarcastically.

-------------------------------------------

"Mr Briston, they're here." A voice came on the intercom. Briston held a button, heard a buzz and spoke.

"Send them in." He said and released the button. Briston leaned back on his chair and fumbled with his hair for moment making sure he looked good for the guests. The doors slid open. Emille and Julie walked in and both were in handcuffs.

"Sorry we had to meet like this." Brisron began.

"I meet most people like this." Emille joked raising his cuffs. The appearance of the man shocked Emille. The man was sitting in a chair so Emille couldn't tell how talk he was but he was thin. He was wearing white pants with a white suit which had gold decals on it. His hair was standing straight and the tips were white.

"I should introduce myself." Briston said getting up. He was shorter then Emille expected.

"I'm Dennis Briston, but I go by Briston instead, Im not a fan of the name Dennis." He smiled holding a hand out to shake.

Emille looked at his hand cuffs, Bristons hands then at Briston as if saying "I can't handshake."

"Oh yes!" Briston laughed. He walked to his desk and grabbed a key removing Julie's and Emille hand cuffs.

They shook hands and greeted each other. The man seemed nice enough Emille thought.

"Where are we?" Julie asked.

"Why were we in arena?" Emille added.

Briston sighed and returned to his desk. He cracked his fingers.

"All your questions will be answered soon enough." He told them.

"I want them answered now." Emille took a step forward.

"I can have you arrested in...." Briston looked down to his watch.

"Whenever I want." He finished.

Emille relaxed a little bit.

"This is a new place and you two seem so scared, don't you have any curiosity?" He asked scratching his head. Julie looked at Emille.

"No." They both answered.

"Well that's a shame, I'm just going to ask you some questions and we can all be friends." Briston smiled. Julie and Emille didn't.

"Did you know kron?" He asked them. Emille felt a shock go through his body at that name. How did Briston know him?

"Yes." Emille slowly said being careful about how he answered the questions.

"Which one of you killed him?" Briston began madly writing things down. Emille paused on this question. Julie was nervous about this one too.

"Neither of us." Emille lied. It went silent. Could Briston tell he was lying?

"Okay and why did the nexus ad all your friends die?" He finally asked. Emille tensed. Was he implying they killed him?

"They sacrificed themselves." Emille said firmly.

"That's the wrong answer I believe." Briston put his pen down.

"All of those of answers could be wrong." Emille told him. Briston was surprised for a moment as he hasn't thought of that.

"That very well could be, but I can guarantee you killed your friends." Bristons eyes got narrow.

"I didn't." Emille corrected again. Julie edged towards Emille hoping he wouldn't say anything dumb.

"I have hear you pushed trotz into the ray shield and killed him." Briston walked in front of the desk. Emille walked up to Briston, grabbed his neck and bent it back down to the desk. He began gasping for air.

"I didn't kill anyone."

Briston stretched his arm out and pressed and a red button as Julie watched in concern. Soldiers burst through the door ripping Emille away.

Briston felt his neck and coughed.

"Like I said, if you would've answered these questions we could've all been friends." He told Emille as he was escorted out of the room with Julie.

This was Dennis Briston. The man in charge, the only one who knew what was going on. The mind behind all the great plans. The seemingly nice and generous man but really a twisted and gruesome animal. The public speaks of him as a god and saviour someone who has done great things. Everything that had seemed big to Emille was a small step in Dennis' rise to power. He was the kind of guy who gets up in the mornings wearing the nicest and most expensive clothes and tells himself "I'm doing a favour for everyone". He was a genius. Even kron had thought highly of him but kron was gone and he didn't matter anymore. Now it was Bristons turn. Anything he needed or wanted he got, including people because after all he just wanted to be friends with everyone.
