Author's POV
2011....
Kang Ji-Hoon is his name. He was one of those popular and attractive guys that every girl desired. They'd give anything to date him. He was also friendly, kind, and heartwarming, making him the ideal boyfriend for any girl. Eventually, a lucky girl got the chance, and while the girls despised it, some people liked it because they ended up becoming the sweetest couple in the high school. Jang Yu-Jeong was her name...
"Will he even like me?" Hi-Soo bit her lower lip, tapping her feet nervously.
"Isn't that obvious? He likes you a lot, so just go for it, Hi-Soo yah," Ji-Hoon asked, reassuring her that nothing bad would happen.
"As you say," she said, taking a deep breath and walking over to Jae-Yong, who was chatting with his friends.
She cleared her throat to get his attention, which made the entire room quiet because everyone in the class, including Ji-Hoon, knew they were madly in love...
"Hey," Hi-Soo said nervously, pulling the strands of her hair back at her earlobe while her eyes flickered.
"Hey," Jae-Yong said, looking elsewhere because he was heating up because Hi-Soo was getting closer.
"Oh come on, just spit it out," Ji-Hoon groaned, noting that they were taking longer than expected and that if they kept acting like this, they wouldn't be confessing until school was over.
"I like you!" They both blurted out at the same time, looking deeply into each other's eyes because Ji-Hoon was forcing them to.
"Would you like to go out with me?" Jae-Yong continued, his gaze fixed on Hi-Soo, realising she was still flustered by the fact that they both confessed at the same time.
"Yes." She nodded, and he sighed in relief, causing the entire class to become chaotic because they now have a new couple.
"See, it wasn't all that bad." Ji-Hoon applied a headlock to Jae-Yong while grinning evilly.
"Congratulations to both of you." Yu-Jeong spoke up from behind.
"Yu-Jeong!" Ji-Hoon smiled, his cheeks flushed, because seeing her makes his heart skip a beat.
"We should rejoice." Yu-Jeong took Ji-Hoon's hands in hers and kissed his cheek with a smile.
"Exactly as we should." Ji-Hoon grinned from ear to ear, and they all agreed.

6 months later...
"Isn't this a lovely picture?" Yu-Jeong inquired as she showed Ji-Hoon a Polaroid of him and her together near the seaside.
"I wish we'd taken more photos." He said this while ruffling Yu-Jeong's hair and watching some students play football on the field.
"Ji-Hoon, I know it sounds perplexing, but should we kiss?" Yu-Jeong asked, her eyes shining, as she moved an inch closer to him and grabbed his right hand.
"Kiss? Why?" He asked, softly chuckling because Ji-Hoon is the type of person who takes things slowly and also believes that kissing his girlfriend right now isn't really necessary. Furthermore, he is afraid of taking advantage of her.
