Teddy P.O.V

They arrived at Hogwarts and McGonagall immediately pulled Harry and Teddy aside, saying that Lupin had written her a letter informing of what happened.

Poppy was also there to make sure they were healthy.

"It was good Remus was there, chocolate is very good for after a confrontation with a Dementor." She praised. Then she looked at Teddy strangely.

Teddy was starting to feel annoyed by it all. There was something big that all the adults seemed to know but weren't telling him. He was going to ask Minnie after she cleared them to go.

Harry still looked shaken up after seeing the Dementor, it had obviously effected him more than others. Teddy would ask him about it later. Or it could have been caused by their conversation with Malfoy. Who joked Harry for having fainted. Then Teddy threatened to punch him. He'd done it before and he'd do it again..

"You may go back to the feast," McGonagall dismissed them. Poppy and Harry left. Teddy stayed.

He was 13 now, he wasn't a little kid. He wanted to know what was going on.

"Minnie, what's going on?" He asked her.

She was his favorite teacher. And he was pretty sure he was her favorite student. Even though he go up to trouble on a regular basis.

"What do you mean Mr. Lupin?" She was playing dumb.

"I mean, why are people giving me weird looks, I've seen how the adults are looking at me now. What's going on?!"

"Calm down, Lupin. I assure you, nothing life threatening is going on. No need to worry. And has the thought occurred to you that we may be looking out for your and Harry's well being because there is a very dangerous criminal on the loose?"

"I just- ok, I'm sorry Professor." Teddy felt ashamed of his outburst. His hair turned black.

"Now I suggest you head back to the Great Hall before you miss all the food." McGonagall said sternly.

Teddy nodded and made his way back to the Great Hall.

Snape P.O.V

Severus glared at the man sitting to his right. Lupin. How much he loathed the man. Although it seemed Lupin was trying to put their pasts behind them.

Severus turned his head as Teddy Lupin sulked into the hall and sat down at the Gryffindor table. Severus deepened his glare at the boy. He looked even more like his father with his hair black. Disgusting.

Severus turned his glare to Dumbledore as he stood to make the welcome speech. Dumbledore was forcing him to make Wolfsbane potion for Lupin. How horrid. He may as well poison the filthy werewolf while he had the chance.

Then he remembered he needed Dumbledore's trust. But for now he would continue to seeth in anger at his old enemy as Lupin laughed at something Flitwick said. How stupid he really was.

Teddy P.O.V

Dumbledore stood "Welcome! Welcome to another year at Hogwarts. Now, I'd like to say a few words... ...before we all become too befuddledby our excellent feast." He started

"First, I'm pleased to welcome Professor R.J. Lupin,"

Lupin, the man from the train stood and gave a small wave.

"who's kindly consented to fill the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Good luck, professor. Our Care of Magical Creatures teacher has decided to retire in order to spend more time with his remaining limbs.

Fortunately,I'm delighted to announce that his place will be taken by none otherthan our own Rubeus Hagrid."

The hall burst into applause. Hagrid wiped his eyes on the table cloth.

"Finally, on a more disquieting note at the request of the Ministry of Magic Hogwarts will, until further notice, play host to the dementors of Azkaban until such a time as Sirius Black is captured.

The dementors will be stationed at every entrance to the grounds. Now whilst I've been assured that their presence will not disrupt our day-to-day activities a word of caution. Dementors are vicious creatures. The can not be fooled by trickery or spells, even by invisablitlity cloaks. They'll not distinguish between the one they hunted the one who gets in their way.

Therefore, I must warn each and every one of you to give them no reason to harm you. It is not in the nature of a dementor to be forgiving. But you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light. Have a splendid evening!" Dumbledore concluded.

They made their way back to the common room. Teddy overheard Fred and George talking.

"He's wise that man, isn't he?" Fred said to George.

"Yeah, sure, wise, but also a nut job." George said.

"Definitely. Wise and mental." Fred agreed.

"Fortuna Major" The Fat Lady swung open to reveal the common room. Teddy smiled. He was home again.
