Teddy Lupin at Hogwarts

Teddy P.O.V

The lights were out. It was pitch black. Teddy didn't know how that happened seeing as it was mid-day outside. The temperature dropped 10 degrees. It was cold and dark.

Neville and Ginny joined them in their compartment.

"Shhh," Whispered a voice Teddy didn't quite recognize. He knew it must belong to Professor Lupin. 

Lupin light a fire in his hand. He had curly sandy light brown hair and he looked young but his hair was flecked with grey in the sides. He had some scars across his face. His amber eyes looked surprised.

Remus P.O.V

Remus woke to the sounds of voices. He shushed them and lit a fire in his hand, and looking right at him was Sirius. Bright grey eyes. And next to him, James. Remus almost cried. But then he took in the bright green of Lily's eyes. It wasn't James. It was Harry. And next to him was Remus's son, Teddy.

Then a stuttering creek came as the door to their compartment slowly slid open. A rattaling breath. A gnarly skeleton hand. A dementor was standing in the door way. 

The kids starred at it in shock and terror. Harry fainted and started twitching on the ground. Ginny and Ron were crying, so was Neville. Hermione was frozen in place. Teddy was curled up in a ball on his seat and whimpering.

Remus heard the maniacal laugh of Sirius Black as they dragged him to Azkaban, he heard James assuring him that they would be safe. Remus blinked back tears.

"No one is handing Sirius Black under their cloaks," He told the dementor.

"Expecto Patronum," Remus said so softly it could barely be heard. He summoned a corporeal Patronus, a jet of white silvery mist shot out of his wand. The dementor immediately turned and retreated away from them.

Everyone relaxed. Remus helped Harry off the ground, "Are you ok, Harry? Teddy?" He asked.

"Y-yeah," Harry said uncertainly "Who screamed?"

Hermione look perplexed "No one screamed, Harry."

Teddy looked scared. Remus took about a huge slab of chocolate from his coat pocket. He started breaking it into pieces and handing it out to the children.

"Eat that," He instructed "I'm going to go speak with the driver."

Remus exited the compartment and looked around the hallway. Empty. He took a shaking breath. He allowed one tear to roll down his face before collecting himself and making his way to the conductor's booth.

Teddy P.O.V

Teddy looked down at the chocolate in his hand. He took a bite. It's warm sweetness melted in his mouth. Yum.

"Don't worry, it's not poisoned." Teddy said.

"Hey, I've just realized something," Ron said looking at Teddy "You have the same last name as Professor Lupin. Isn't that weird?"

Teddy did have to admit, it was strange having the same last name as a teacher. But he brushed it off as a coincidence.

"It's a common name, Ron." He told him.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Ron said.

Then Professer Lupin walked back in. Teddy was still the only one eating the chocolate. "The chocolate will help," He told them

The others started eating their chocolate.

"Professer?" Teddy asked "What was that thing?"

Remus P.O.V

It was so weird, Teddy calling him professor. In another time, in another place, in another universe, Teddy would be calling him Dad.

Remus pushed the thought aside "It was a Dementor. They guard Azkaban. They were looking for Sirius Black."
