I clicked my tongue. "Ah Mr Ghost, did you really have to wear pyjamas to hide your amazing body? If you are going to be shirtless, you might as well go all the way"
Suddenly, the ghost chuckled.
"Why is this ghost laughing at his own food? What is he even making?"
Tine's POV
"Why is this ghost laughing at his own food? What is he even making?"
I moved closer to check what was in the pot.
"Lasagne? What the hell it looks so good!"
I tried touching the food in the pot, but my hand went straight through it, exactly the same way when I tried to touch the ghost. I could touch the stove the ghost was cooking his food on, but I couldn't touch the pot he was using or the food he was cooking. Come to think of it, I hadn't seen a similar pot in the kitchen and I obviously didn't have any of the ingredients to make lasagne, so did the ghost get his own stuff? Well he has been living here before me, so he probably is all settled in the apartment with all of his ghost stuff.
"Seriously, you are a damn ghost and you still like to cook your own pretend food? I thought ghosts didn't even get hungry." I looked down at the lasagne again in the pot, it looked so delicious, I was almost, almost thankful for the fact that I couldn't smell it.
"Fuck, now I am hungry and you won't even share your food with me."
I picked up my phone and ordered a lasagne from a nearby restaurant. I really needed to save money and stop ordering food from outside, but not today — today, was a day of celebration for me, even if that means I was going to celebrate it with a ghost in my house.
"Well, guess what Mr Ghost? I ordered some lasagne for myself too. You are not the only one who gets to eat delicious food... Although, I really wish I could taste yours."
Ignoring me as expected, the ghost finally finished cooking, put his lasagne on his plate, came out of the kitchen and sat on the living room sofa in front of the TV. He clicked on the TV remote and my TV started on its own. He had a remote that looked identical to my TV remote — but mine was still placed near the TV.
"Wow. This ghost can do some magic." I came out and sat on the sofa next to the ghost.
"Wait, so you can use my stove to cook the food and I can watch the TV when you put it on — its almost like we share the same furniture and appliances around the apartment but we can't touch each other's personal stuff?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Well, I guess that officially makes us roommates huh?"
I looked carefully at the TV and realised the ghost was watching a superhero movie that I had never seen before.
"Is this Avengers? I have never seen this movie before. Is this even real?"
Just as the movie got interesting, the doorbell rang. "Ah, that must be the food delivery."
I got up from the sofa and opened the door.
"Delivery for Tine." He said loudly. "Yes, that's me. Thank you for delivering so quickly, I had just started the movie, I thought you might just come by the time the movie gets over."
"Yeah, there wasn't traffic on the road. Are you about to start the movie now?"
"No, its already started." I pointed at the TV which was directly in the line of sight of the delivery guy from where he was standing near the door.
But he looked at me all confused. "Your TV is off."
"What?" I looked back again to check, but my TV was definitely still running with the weird superhero movie that the ghost had put on. And I could also see Mr Ghost concentrating very heavily on the movie.
