Chapter 1

Y/n's pov

      "Your bride", I questioned. "Well you're more like a snack, but that's a little degrading to call you now is it", she replied causing the three girls to laugh. "Daughters you may go now", she said. The girls turned into a swarm of flies and flew out of the room closing the door on the way out. The room was eerily quiet now, the only thing making noise was the crackling  of the fire from the fireplace.

        "Girl did you here me", the woman snapped. "I want to go home", I replied causing her to roll her eyes as she sat back down in her chair.

       "If you're talking about the village full of pest than you have no home to go to", she replied. I slowly shook my head as I started to back away slowly. My back touched the wall causing me to slide down against it till I sat on the floor.

       "Now I ask you again, what is your name", she asked. I stayed silent. She turned her head slightly so she was looking at me. "I want to leave", I mumbled. She turned her head back around and waved her hand.

"Go ahead", she sighed. l causing me to raise my head slightly. "What", I questioned. "You're not a necessity, I could live without you so go ahead leave", she explained. I just stared at her for a bit. Then I began to slowly get up using the wall for support. Once I was fully standing up I ran straight out of the room. I didn't care for directions so I just kept running. I only knew we weren't that far from the room I was originally from. I entered the room was in before those girls too me. I noticed the huge double doors, that must be the way our.

         I rushed towards the door and placed my body against it. I pushed with all my might. The doors burst opened causing me to stumble a bit. The cold wind blew towards me, it was strong so it caused me to stumble and fall back on my butt. I looked around to make sure this girls or that tall woman was nearby. I closed my eyes for a bit, it was nice to feel the cold air for once. Even if it was a blistering type cold. I opened my eyes ready to get up, but froze when one of those monsters came from around the corner form outside.
  
            It let out a snarl before barring it teeth then jumped on top of me. I placed my hands on it's shoulders to stop it from biting me. It was going for my throat. It kept snapping it jaws and push harder against me. I squinted my eye since spit was flying on to my face. My arms started to feel weak so the monster was able to get closer bit by bit. One more push was all it took for the monster to lodge its teeth deep in my neck.

         Suddenly a huge gloved black hand grabbed the back of the monster's head, gripping it by the hair. The monster was flung backwards slightly so it was off of me. The monster stumbled back a bit and was ready to leap at me.

         I heard the sound similar to meat cutting and I saw long black lines swiped against the monster. The monster let out a guttural growl as it's body began falling apart. A squirt of blood blasted out of the body some got on my face covering it in dark reddish color. I closed my mouth so none it got into my mouth, but the smell enough was able to make me gag. I slowly lifted my head so I could look to see who was above me.

         It was the tall woman, she was staring down at me with an evil smile and glint in her eyes. Her huge hat made a dark shadow across her face. I see that her fingers were extended were slowly shrinking down back to her normal fingers. She walked forward a bit, going around me of course. She closed the huge double doors then made a face at the chopped up dead monster then at me.

         "Come, you smell", she said then began walking away. I stayed in my spot watching her walk away, she stopped then turned her head towards me.

       "I don't have all day", she fussed then continued walking down the hallway. I rushed to get on my feet and catch up with her.
