Y/n's pov

Wake up, eat then get the life sucked out of me then sleep. Wake up, eat then get the life sucked out of me then sleep. Wake up, eat then get the life sucked out out of me then sleep. Wake up, eat then get the life sucked out of me then sleep. Wake up, eat then get the life sucked out of me then sleep.

This routine had been going on for a two weeks now, possibly more. I'm not really sure it's hard to tell time in this castle. This routine is making me lose my goddamn mind. It's the same every time I wake up eat with the girls majority of the time then Lady Dimitrescu comes to get me then proceeds to bring me to her room where she drinks her dinner out of my neck. Usually it a while until she's full by the time she's done I'm passed out asleep. I just can't take this anymore. I wouldn't complain if it was yard work tending to animals or washing clothes, I was physically doing something. I felt like in this situation I was her livestock.

"Up now", Lady Dimitrescu said while sitting in her chair. I stood my ground, didn't move a muscle. "Did you not hear me", she questioned.

"I did", I mumbled. If I get killed on the spot that is fine, anything to escape this torture. I saw her hands grip the armrest of her chair and a scowl began to form on her face.

"I just can't do this anymore, it's the same routine every single day", I spat. "I thought humans enjoy stability", she said. "We do, but I can't handle getting the life sucked out of me then sleep then the same thing over and over and over", I rambled while gripping my head and bending over slightly. I released my head and looked at her with an angry with a hint of pleading look.

"Please I just want it to stop", I said. She just sat there in silence still having a scowl on her face. Then she rolled her eyes while letting out a sigh.

"Then what do you want", she asked. "What I want", I questioned. "Well you must've want something if you're going to throw a tantrum", she said. "I want you to stop drinking from me", I said. "You want me to die from starvation", she questioned. "No no uh can you stop drinking me everyday like alter days", I explained. "Fine, but what will you do with your free time", she asked. What can I do in this place? I can't do farm work because of the monsters outside?

"I have a library if you want to read", she said. "Read", I questioned. "Yes, read, do you not know how to read", she asked. "My father didn't believe in reading unless it's related to his religion", I mumbled. She leaned back in her chair and leaned her head against her fist while closing her eyes. I stood there waiting for her to open her eyes. She finally let out a sigh then opened her eyes.

"Do you want to learn", she asked. "To read? Is it useful", I asked. "Of course it's useful", she replied. "It either that or I drink you", she said casing me to freeze. "Y-Yes I wish to learn", I stuttered. She let out a small chuckle while standing up. She began heading into one of the rooms with me behind her. I never realize dhow tall she really was, I had to speed walk to keep up with her.

We entered a room filled with books. She went over to the nearest shelf and took a book off it then walked dover to a huge chair then took a seat in it. I walked towards her then stood beside her.

"What is this room", I asked. "A library", she replied then held the book outwards me and aimed a finger at the words on the front. "What does this say", she asked. "You don't have to do this", I mumbled, I feel like a helpless child.

"You said you wanted to learn", she replied. "It's either this or I feed", she added. "Fine", I sighed then leaned in slightly to look at the words. \

"Vilag of Shadows", I said. "It's village, say it again", she stated. "V-Village of Shadows", I corrected. She nodded her head then opened the book. "You're going to have to read this whole thing out loud", she said. "These letters or words whatever you call them look hard to say, is there an easier book", I asked. "This is the only easiest book I know of", she replied. I let out a sigh then looked back at the pages only for her to slam it close.

"Get up here, my back hurts from all this leaning", she complained. Before I could decline the offer she grabbed my arm and pulled my body up and onto her lap. I adjusted myself so now I was sitting on top her thighs. She placed the book in my hand.

"Start reading", she said moving a bit. I guessed she was leaning against her hand again, I was too nervous to turn around. Her chest was enormous and was passing back against my head. Are chests suppose to be big like that. I shook my head slightly then opened the book. I bean reading away while struggling alone the way.
