Relization and thank you letters

The night had passed and another beautiful morning had soon come. Gumball woke ready to start a fresh new day and happy the Hug-wolf threat was finally gone. Now all he had to do was thank Fiona, Cake and Marshall lee. No big deal except he was regretting having to go to Marshall's, only because last time he went over with Fiona they ended up in a bickering match about weather magic was real or not, and of course it wasn't. But it was the nice thing to do and he basically saved Gumball the night before, so he wasn't about to just go and ignore that fact. Getting dressed quickly he made his way to the window where he once again called out to Monochrome.
"Please take me to Fiona's tree house" he tapped and off they bounded toward the adventurers home.
When he arrived no one was home, so he figured he would leave them a thank you note and invite them over for tea whenever they please. Next was the vampires humble home.
He just hoped he was up at this time of day. But not really. The prince grimaced tapping in morse code once again for Mono to bring him to the kings small "palace" in the forest. He always despised that the forest existed because it gave him an eerie feeling but nothing he could do would make it go away so he dealt with it. They drew nearer to the vampires home the wind got cooler and cooler as they did making Gumball tremendously uncomfortable. He would be sure to make this quick. Swiftly he jumped from Monochrome's back and speedily walked to the front door. It didn't seem like anyone was awake but the prince knocked twice just to confirm. Nothing. He knocked one last time, softly as if he didn't want anyone to really hear him and decided the king was most likely already asleep. With a sigh of relief he poked the note through the slit in the wooden door and turned to leave. Then he herd a click followed by the sound of the door creaking open. "Oh? Leaving are we? That's not very nice of you Gumwad" he could feel the vampires pesky smirk intermingling with his faux hurt voice. He turned slowly, inhaling and exhaling as if he knew what was coming next and sure enough there it was "why don't you come on In bubba?" It would be rude to say no and lying was something he had been thought only to do in emergencies. There was only one reply left "yes of course; excuse my rudeness" he nodded to Monochrome which meant it was alright to leave. The vampire was floating there holding the door open.
"Welcome" he chuckled "Your majesty".
"yes yes thank you marshall lee, I'm sorry if-" the vampire huffed interrupting him with a "Why don't you pop a squat Gumwad". The price cleared his throat " you know that's not my name and I've simply come to thank you for helping rid my kingdom of the Hug-wolves... A-as well as helping me when I was in trouble" his voice got low on that last part making the vampire laugh. "No prob bubba" he said leaning back on the couch. The cluttered room filled with awkward silence and after a few minutes Gumball was tried of it. Politely he got to his feet "Well I should be heading back now..".
"Wait Gum I know it's weird but I saw the way you tried to defend yourself and-"
The price furrowed his brow "Look if your going to make fun of me save it" he snapped
"I wasn't man chill, I was only gonna ask if you would be okay if I were to teach you some basic moves for like.. self defense and stuff"
The pink haired boy made a face "You? Why the glob would you care if I could defend myself or not?" The vampire shrugged "Fi asked me to help teach you and well I've known you a long time, what a shame it would be if you were die or somthin' "
   Gumball didn't know what to say really. "Well I could always just hire someone to teach me lessons there's no need for you to worry" the vampire was getting tired of this, his red eyes glistening. "Look I'll do it for no charge, relax dude I'm not pullin' your leg". The price wasn't buying it.
"Really I don't need you too but thank you for the offer and thank you again for your help".
   Marshall groaned "Man do it for Fi she's really worried 'bout ya' " finally he gave in.  
"fine, fine but I swear to glob if this is a joke or one of your pranks I will never forgive you!" This made the vampire smile. "So I'll see ya here around six maybe? tomorrow? And I promise man, there won't be any pranking" he snorted "Cross my heart and hope to die" Gumball just crossed his arms "You know that might make me feel a little better if you were alive". Now the vampire king was laughing so hard he was on the verge of tears and Gumball took his leave. Once outside he called for MC and waited for the black horse to come swooping in to pick him up.
  Once at home Gumball sat on his bed, flopping down and staring intently at the ceiling. "What a total goof" he whispered to himself, clutching one of his fluffy pink pillows to his stomach as he nuzzled his blushed face into it.
