Smile.

We finally arrived at our resort. I went out of the car quickly and saw our managers that are ready to greet me at entrance.

"Good afternoon Ma'am Xena"

"Good afternoon din po Architect" the managers greeted me as we enter

"Good afternoon, sorry we were late I had some sort of a car accident"

"It is okay ma'am we are glad you are safe; do you want to go check the workers or do you want to go to your office first?" manager Cruz asked while the other manager and staffs went back to their jobs.

"I will go check what the workers are working on and ituturo din kasi sakin ni Architect Quentin yung specific plans for renovations here sa parts ng resort.

"Do you want me to come with you ma'am" the manager asked as we continue talking.

"Yes, please"

"I am going to check the engineers and the workers first do you want to come with me?" Architect Quentin asked.

"Yes, we will po Architect"

We started going near the events place here in our resort, I saw the workers already soaked in their sweats as they work.

"Are they done taking their lunch?" I asked.

"Yes, they are ma'am"

"That's good" I said and saw Architect went to the Engineer and talked to him.

The manager and I talked about the other details on the resort like on how the resort is still not accepting guests to have event here since the event's place is being renovated and others details on what part of the resort will be next to renovate.

I went to one of the pool chairs when one of our staffs called the manager. I feel tired so I just decided to check on my phone. I saw texts of my mom asking if I am fine.

Mom:

Chanel, how are you? I heard na bangga ka daw? Are you fine? Reply ASAP!

Chanel:

Yes mom, I am fine. There is nothing to worry about. The car is getting fixed, and I have no injuries. I am here in the resort also.

I checked my social media after I replied to my mom's text. I saw the message of my cousins too. My mom told them what happened. I just replied and told them I am fine.

I went to check the stories on my account. I am shocked that Ed added to his stories. I am deciding if I should check it or not. My mind is telling me not to check it but my hard badly wants to know what is going on with him. I am so curious. I miss Ed, I know deep down that I do. So whatever reason stopping me to check it, I decided to still check. Pero sana hindi na lang pala. Sana nakinig ako sa sarili ko. Sana hindi ko pinakinggan yung puso ko.

It was a picture, his new girl kissing him on the cheek. They look happy. I should be happy too, right?

Tangina. Akala ko medyo nakakamove on na ko. Pero bakit parang back to zero? I feel my tears falling. I closed my phone and covered my face.

"Ma'am Xena, do you want to have lun—Shit why are you crying maam?" Architect Quentin suddenly appeared and saw me in this state.

I quickly wipe my tears and smiled. "Wala napuwing lang"

"Parang hindi naman ganyan grabe umiyak ang napuwing" He replied and there bigla na lang ako naiyak sa sinabi niya.

Architect tried to comfort me. He just held my shoulder sinamahan niya ko hanggang sa tumahan ako.
