Friends.

Ang traffic! Mga kalahating oras nang hindi umaandar ang kotse ko. My driver is with me and I just want to go to the resort quickly. It's been more than a week since Architect told me he likes me.

I thought he won't make a move because of the 'friends' agreement but I feel like he's too sweet for a friend. Magsisinungaling ako sa sarili ko kung sasabihin ko na hindi ako kinikilig because I do!

He's been always reminding me to eat, he invites me to eat with him, asks me to come with him for a freakin' groceries, waits for me to arrive so he can carry my stuff, knocks on my office just to ask how am I, spend his break on me whenever I tour on the resort, asks if he can drive me to work which also the reason why I bring my driver each day, and constantly texts me!

I gave him my number and I don't know how he made me agree to give him my number. That's just some of the few things he does for me every day at work.

I want to tell him to stop doing all those but I do not want to hurt him more, I mean kakareject ko lang sa kanya tapos nag mamagandang loob lang naman pipigilan ko pa?

"Ma'am nasa resort na po tayo" my driver said that made me stop from talking to myself.

"Okay, kuya I'll text you na lang for later, thanks!" I said as I leave the car.

"Good Morning! Ma'am Xena"

"Speaking of the devil" I said in my mind

"Sorry, what?"

"Oh, no nothing I said Good Morning too!" my gosh I didn't notice that I said that out loud!

"So, it's Friday, and you told me last Tuesday that you're busy ng Tuesday but today are you busy can we have dinner later?"

"Uhh.. I'll enroll for today, so I'll leave the resort around 2, I'll meet with my cousins too"

"Oh, matagal ba yon, gusto mo samahan kita?" he asked.

"I'm not sure, and kasama ko cousins ko so baka ma out of place ka"

"But do you want me to come?"

"Um... " I stopped walking and face him and shook my head as a sign to say No.

"Okay, okay sorry"

"No... n-no it's okay it's just that ... uh nevermind!" I said and continued walking.

"Wait, wait what is it?" he said as he grabs me by my hand to stop walking"

"Nothing!"

"No, I know something is wrong what is it?"

"It's just that we're just friends and I feel like you are acting more than a friend, I feel guilty too kasi I have been rejecting your offers to eat with you or join you to do something"

"No, no you don't have to feel bad; I respect your decision. I mean it's okay for you to reject my offers and I am sorry if I am acting like more than a friend, I'm sorry I'll work on that"

"Thank you, I appreciate all your efforts and gestures I'm just not ready yet"

I went directly on my office after that. I tried to do some paperworks but I think I'm too distracted. So, I decided to went out to observe the resort.

The renovation is on the pool area and some of the rooms. Kaya naman walang masyadong tao sa resort, they started last week, and they are doing great.

I am near the restaurant when I noticed Architect is eating with the other Engineers. Wow! Good thing hindi niya ko ginugulo sa pag oobserve ko today. I checked my phone to check if he left some messages and he also didn't text me to eat my lunch today.
