Sweet Night

Taehyung woke up to loud noises coming from the hallway. His eyes flutter open as he realizes that he has fallen asleep with Charlie in her hospital bed. Her hands are holding his shirt tight as she is curled up like a baby. Taehyung smiles as he looks over her sleeping face. Slowly he unclenches her hands, in an attempt to not wake her up.
Suddenly she growls and he jumps out of the bed, afraid of how she will react if she sees him still in bed with her.
He takes deep breaths as he watches her body turning into her sleep.
"Taehyung! Please wake up!" She murmurs in her slumber.
A single tear rolls over Tae's cheek as he realizes that she is worried about him even in her sleep. 'Maybe she will love him back someday?', he thinks as he walks out to get himself a tea.

"Where have you been!" She scolds him with a grim expression when he comes back with two cups.
"Morning Charlie."
"Morning, Taehyung. Where have you been?" This time her voice is full of worries.
"I..."
"When I woke up, you were gone and I thought it was all just a dream. That you were still sick."
Tae hurries next to her bed where he places the cups on the little table.
"No dream. I am really here with you." He lets her know as he cups her face with his big hands.
Charlie leans into them, the heat of his skin against her making her wanting more but the confusion inside of her is still too prominent for her to let her guard down.

"Can you now tell me what happened after the procedure?" She looks up into his eyes after a few minutes and he knows that it is time to confess, confess his love for this woman and her kids.
"I did not find out about you immediately so I can only relay to you what the others told me about what happened during the first days."
Taehyung grabs the cups with the hot drink and hands one to Charlie before walking over to the chair he had spent hours in, just watching her sleep.
"My members found out really soon after the procedure that there had been some kind of complication on your side. Unfortunately, you have not filled out the whole paper for your admission."
"Yes, I remember I was in a hurry. I wanted to get it done quickly so you could wake up and I could go back to my life."
It somehow hurt Taehyung to know that if she had not fallen into a coma, she would have just walked away from him. He gulps visibly as she gestures for him to continue.
"So, Jimin remembered your address from when he drove you back one night and he also knew approximately what was your front door. When they walked up, your neighbor came out with your daughters. Our princesses immediately recognized Jimin and Namjoon as BT21 dads."
Charlie smiles as she sees Taehyung's face light up when he says "our princesses".

"I know they are big BT21 fans."
"You have no idea. I don't even know how they manage to enter their room right now."
They both giggle at the thought of the two girls with all the plushies.
"Then Mrs. Sung informed them that she needed to go away for some time and she did not know where the kids could stay. At that time, I was not aware of all this but my group just took the girls in."
"They just brought them to their home?"
"Apparently, they all fell in love with the girls the moment they saw them. The members also claimed that they found it was their duty to look over them as a favor to return because you saved my life."
Charlie has tears in her eyes as she cannot believe how lucky she got to meet such amazing people.
"I will have to cook them a nice dinner once I am out to thank them."
"I am sure you will make them happy with that, especially the maknae." Taehyung grins at her and she cannot tear her eyes away from his beautiful face.
