Chapter 27
Angus struggled with his subconscious and smashed his eyes open, the smell of the hospital engulfing him. He faced the mini television at his side and gasped at the news that read,"Andrew Stephen, son of billionaire business tycoon and owner of Starter's breweries, sentenced to death for the murder of Simon Stephen, brother and Alexander Davis." His blood pressure suddenly shot up and his breathing was difficult.
A nurse opened the door and frowned in fright, rushing out to get the doctor.
Angus grasped the bed rails and pushed himself up. However, a gentle hand over his shoulder pushed him down; Daniella's.
The doctor arrived with quarter a dozen of nurses. He escorted the worried Dani out and returned to Angus, getting his stethoscope and throwing orders at the nurses,"Get the injections, quick?"
The disorder in the hospital room was indescribable as the personnels did their best to save Angus's life.
Angus on the other hand, was eager to save and stop Andrew's death. He wouldn't let that happen, would he ?
Outside, Dani smiled. The miracle did happen. If only Andrew was going to be here.
Angus however, knew something made him fight for his life, he wasn't sure. Maybe a heavenly cause... Or the image of Andrew's escape made him want to escape him. And he did, from the claws of death.

Abraham Louis frowned at the oncoming vehicles; a black Jaguar, a Ford and several delivery vans. They were certainly not accustomed to receiving packages.
The black house, so they called their territory, was a place for the violent hearted, nobody else. Then the vans?
He watched a lady come out of the Jaguar, in a black sweat-suit and cap whose brim was below his eyes.
Abraham walked up to him and purposely blew smoke in his face,"Who are you looking for?"
The lad checked his records, striving to keep his face covered by the cap's brim,"Uhmm, packages for a Robert Gasky."
Abraham instantly recognized the name as one of theirs and turned to his mates,"Any idea why Pain would order trucks of stuff?"
One shook his head and got up, "Why don't we see what's in the vans?"
The delivery guy seemed to flinch. He clearly had not expected that. Abraham noticed his fear and walked round to one of the vans, pulling the back open to see the "packages."
However and painfully, the packages turned out to be a bunch of hoodlums in uniform, possibly prison uniforms. There were prisoners in the van staring sadistically at him!!
He gasped,"Oh shit!" Moving quickly to the lad, he spat,"Is this some kind of a joke? Prisoners in the van?"
The delivery guy walked towards the vans in confusion,"No! Those are not supposed to be..." Then he knocked Abraham out with a hard blow,"Packages for Pain, I was right about that."
The other men forced themselves up in caution and picked up their guns. However, the sight of the entire vans opening and releasing angry, screaming criminals was so deteriorating and discouraging that they dropped their guns and ran into the black house, their own estate for thugs.
Andrew took the cap off and faced the angry criminals,"Go! Go! Go!"
As he watched the prisoners run into the black house, he screamed at them,"Don't stop until you find Pain and Night!!"
The Ford opened to release Cruise Marrosi and Andrew's food thief who he learned to be Micheal Edwardo.
Micheal walked up to Andrew. Janet and the rest now descended the driver's seat of the various vans, watching the second wave of riot in Texas. #Prisoners vs Gangsters#, if both could it be considered gangsters.

Night looked out the window at the violent scene of brutality from anonymous prisoners. He immediately knew they had come for him. And at that, he knew Andrew was behind it, he had made it out.
He quickly snatched his keys from the dresser and ran out, his hood on to block his face as he got into his car.

Andrew got a rifle and entered his Jaguar, driving into the black house in search for the top gangsters of the territory. He forced his way through the melee, narrowly missing hitting certain people, friend and foe. He seemed drunk with anger. God help those two when he got his hands on them. They would learn what it was like to be on his black book.
Having just a motive in mind, he got the accelerator and stared at the moon, 2:30am. This had to be quick.

Daniella walked into Angus's room and watched him think about God knows what,"How do you feel?"
He forced a smile,"Just a pain in the chest. Still trying to be myself."
His sister sat beside him,"You know, at a point, I thought I lost you."
Angus chuckled his chest hurt,"I knew I would be fine even when Simon put that bullet through me. I'm here now,"then he frowned,"It's just Andrew I'm worried about."
Dani blinked sadly,"He killed Simon and took the blame of Alex's murder when I did it. And now he is suffering for everything."
But Angus was not listening, "You've handled things quite well. But you know, I think we could help him. You do not expect us to let him die after all he's done for us."
Dani closed her eyes and confessed,"Let's just go back to New York, first thing tomorrow morning."
Andrew stopped his meticulous planning,"Wait. What?!"

The sight just passed his right eye and and he barely grasped it. Still, he swore he saw the one-eye devil drive past him in a Chrevolet, going in the opposite direction. Night was trying to escape.
He set the car to reverse. Turning it was not what he needed right now. It was... Hard and such a waste of time. If Night was trying to run, he should not mess with the car whose middle name was speed, the Jaguar.
After suffering tge backward drive, he gave the car a violent steer and turned it around, error free. Well except for the pair of fighters he had almost run over.
He drove past the gate of the black house, into the lit highway, with the Chrevolet a few meters ahead.
He loved the cool of the night... Or morning, the emptiness of the road and most especially, the marvel of his car through the light, showcasing speed and glory. He nodded his head to the music in the air.
Night glanced at his side mirror and noticed the Jaguar at his tails, "Shit!" He pushed the accelerator down.
Andrew smiled and did the same, "Madness." However, his increase in speed was to some greater extent which he had intended.
Night felt him catching up his car, then a sudden on it. The maniac had hit his car and withdrawn.
Night drove faster, to max. Like who was he joking with? Andrew just followed and drove like someone used to the life of clean racing.
As they approached a few cars moving in the same direction, Night smirked. He steered the car past them violently but frowned as he noticed Andrew do the same with a lot more sense of carefulness.
Andrew snatched his rifle with his right hand and held it out of the window, aiming at the Chrevolet. He shot at the side mirror that Night was probably watching him with.
Night flinched in fright,"A death race huh?" He also could play in that game. Gripping his pistol, he perked his head out his window, shooting unsuccessfully at the Jaguar behind him. He groaned angrily and shot his last carelessly.
Luckily, the bullet got Andrew's windshield and shattered it. At that, he stuck his head back in with a wicked chuckle.
Andrew frowned at the damage on his favorite vehicle and pushed his accelerator to its maximum.
Night's grin of success was spoilt when he turned to his side; Andrew had caught up with him. He received a wink from the lad and frowned in Pain. But he could go no faster.
Andrew however, did not shoot at him. He surprisingly drove past and far ahead.
Night frowned in confusion then noticed the Jaguar parked horizontally ahead of him, blocking a reasonable half of the road.
He watched Andrew get out of the car and walk to the rails of the highway, leaving the empty car directly before him!
Andrew smiled at the uncalculated crash Night made with the Jaguar. The two cars tumbled and landed violently, with Andrew watching in humor. He checked his watch. There was still time.

The doctor frowned seriously, "Angus just regained consciousness. We cannot be talking about a discharge!"
Dani nodded,"I understand. But right now, this is an emergency. Please get it, we need to go back to New York at the break of dawn."
He creased his forehead,"Is he okay with this?"
Daniella tilted her head and stared at her brother in a wheelchair,"I'd talk to him."
Angus watched her approach and looked away angrily,"So you're just going to let Andrew die."
Dani defended,"I would be the first person to go to his rescue if there was any possible way we could fight a hundred policemen to get him out."
Angus kept quiet for a while before stating,"So you want to return to New York and let go of everything like it never happened."
His sister raised her hand to wipe a year and Drew in shaky breaths. Afterwards, she sighed,"You clearly know I am more affected here in Texas. There's nothing left for me. Every single thing I do would remind me of him, please... Let's go back to our home. Your name's cleared right?"
Angus thought of another argument when Dani pushed on,"Come on Angus. Just say yes."
He bowed in surrender, shaking his head with a sigh. A part of him went with Daniella; there was nothing left anymore. Yet, another part of him wanted to stay and at least attend Andrew's funeral. That was a hard thought but that was the least they could do. He would then console the family and maybe start a new life.
But he stared at her, his sister, all he had. She was broken without repair. And as her elder brother, he would do anything to make her whole again.
