THIRD PERSON POV
—Elizabeth didn't know where she was going, all that she knew was that she had to get out to a place where she could breathe.
Her mother hadn't even tried to listen to her! She had barely gotten a word in!
And now she was being punished. It was unfair. It was cruel, and it was so frustrating.
Did she date going against her mothers orders?
Would she go see Meliodas again even thought she had been time to stay away?
Elizabeth didn't know.
She was scared.Eventually she stopped and found herself in the outskirts of the city where she sat at the bottom of the ocean and cried, thinking of what to do next.
Oblivious to the two merman tracking her every move.OoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
After she had calmed down Elizabeth began thinking of what to do.
Although her mother had said that she was punishing her for her own food Elizabeth wasn't so sure. Not only was her mother not acting like herself, but how could she possibly know that it was was next for her? After all her mother was still believing that she had made it up.
If her mother only knew the truth then she'd probably forgive Elizabeth, and things could go back to how they used to be.
But Elizabeth was still afraid of returning home. She wasn't gonna make the mistake she did with Jelamet and Mael, she was really gonna think this through.
She looked upwards, wanting to swim to the surface, although her mother had strictly forbidden her from doing it.
She couldn't help it, so trying to suppress her mother's words she just started swimming. But when she reached the surface and broke through she realized that she had made a crucial mistake.
There, not too far from her was the village that meliodas had spoken to her about.
She realized that it made sense, of course, since this was far from where she usually went to surface.
She was rarely out of town and had never thought of surfacing here, being content with her spot on the hidden beach. She was about to dive back down, but she stopped, slowly swimming behind a rock and peeking at the city that was slowly beginning light up as the sun was going down.
Her day forgotten as she watched them. There was life and laughter.
Children running around on their small legs.
People still sitting by the docks, fishing.
She knew it wasn't too different from her life in the sea, but there was something truly magical about the humans and the way they lived. She realized she didn't wasn't to give it up.
She still wanted more. More peeks at the humans.
More time with Meliodas.
She had to come back, again and again. She stayed there for a while, just looking at the people living their lives.
But eventually came the time when she left, but she still couldn't go home, so instead she went to the beach she and Meliodas shared their time on and she laid in the sand, going to sleep.OoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Meliodas had nothing to do. Nobody to meet up with, so he did what he always did in those days. He went to the beach, grabbing his fishing hook in case Elizabeth shouldn't show.
It was a calm stroll through the forest.
So when are it to the hill leading to the beach he was in a good mood, but it quickly changed. His eyes widened with worry as he saw Elizabeth laying in the sand, unconscious, he immediately dropped everything and hurried to her side, but the mere sound of his hurried footsteps made her wake up, making him let out a sigh of relief as he realized she had only been sleeping.
"Huh?" She rubbed her eyes but whim he'd as she got sand in then and so she sat up to duh it away as Meliodas's legs caved under him in relief.
"You can't scare me like that...I thought something had happened to you" he sighed as he ran a hand through his wild hair.
