"Robby." I stated under my breath.
He turned to face me.
"Amelia Kreese?" He asked. I looked down.
I couldn't stand looking at Robby. He was the only one who knew about my past.
How I was before I got into karate.
I got into a weak stance. I kept my eyes on the tile of the mall.
Then, a fight broke out.
I went for Sam, so did Hawk. She blocked all of our kicks and punches.
Sam kicked Hawk's leg making him fall over and hug his leg.
While Sam wasn't looking, I kicked her face, making her fall. She got up quickly, and sent a punch to my face. I blocked and roundhouse kicked her side. She grunted. I took this chance to send a punch to her side and a kick to her nose. She fell to the floor.
I lived on to Demetri.
I inched closer with a glare. He stepped back a bit.
"I'm going to give you stitches on other places than your nose." I taunted.
I was about to kick, but Sam got off the floor and charged at me. She tackled me to the ground. I punched her face and shoved her off of me. I stood up, to see I was the only cobra standing. Hawk, Doug, Mitch, Chris, and the others were all on the floor. I scoffed a bit. They are weak.
Sam was down on the floor with them.
I turned to Robby.
"Robby I don't want to hurt you."
"Then don't, just forfeit." He yelled from across the food court.
"You don't just forfeit." I whispered to myself.
No mercy
No mercy
No mercy
Those words replayed in my head as I looked at Robby then Demetri.
"I'll forfeit, can I have a hug. I missed you." I sighed as I opened my arms out for a hug. He smiled and walked over to me, pulling me in a hug.
Stupid
Stupid
Stupid
I got ahold of his neck and got him in a chokehold. He tried to get away, but he couldn't. My grip was too strong.
Eventually, he blacked out, and I threw him to the ground.
All of the cobras groaned and sat up straight. They noticed I was the only one left... with Demetri.
I was about to swing at him, but a security guard came after, and all of the cobras got off the floor and ran. We all sprinted toward the car outside of the mall.
We made it just in time. All of us got into the car and we quickly and recklessly started to drive.
"How did you know Robby Keene?" Hawk asked, gripping the steering wheel tighter at the thought of Robby.
"My ex. We used to date but he moved to the valley with his mom. He never liked his dad, or Sensei Lawrence, so he moved to San Fransisco. Then his mom found a boy in the valley and they moved so they can date." I sighed.
"Oh." Was all that Hawk said, before looking back at the road.
The rest of the car ride was silent.
-
"Thanks for taking me home." Mitch said as Chris and him exited the car.
Now it was me and Hawk.
He started driving.
"Tell me about yourself." I broke the silence. "Like tell me your past and shit."
"Don't laugh ok?" He sounded worried. I nodded.
"I used to be a nerd with a scar on my lip. I was target because of it. Bullied everyday and shit. I soon met Miguel. He introduced me to cobra Kai. I went, got bullied by Sensei Lawrence, then he told me to flip the script. So I did. I got a Mohawk and a badass tattoo. Then started taking latte more seriously to fight back bullies." He replied hesitantly. "What about you?"
I sighed, I never open up to people, as you already know.
(JUST WANTED TO WAY THAT THE FOLLOWING IS ABOUT BODY-SHAMING... ALL BODIES ARE BEAUTIFUL 🤩)
"Don't laugh ok?" I repeated his words. He nodded.
"I used to be chubby. Like not obese, but not skinny. I was bullied every single day, like you. I was tortured by a certain group of kids every day. I was hit, beat up, called names. I hated going to school but I still went, since I was a pansy ass nerd and cared about my grades. The only person who didn't see me as a cow or a fatty was Robby. We dated, but he left me for one of my bullies. Katie Armstrong was her name. I had enough of the bullying, I ran home and cut myself. After realization, I ran to my grandpa, or Kreese. He taught me karate. I started losing weight. Like a lot of weight. O started becoming meaner, and more confident. I mean, you can't blame me for becoming cruel, hearing the words 'NO MERCY' everyday get stuck in your head after a while. I beat up everybody, I dominated the whole school. Everyone became afraid." I finished my rant.
"I-I'm sorry." I stuttered, realizing I just ranted to a boy I met last week.
"It's fine." He smiled. "Our pasts are similar."
"Y-yeah they are." I looked down.
We arrived at my apartment.
"Thanks for the ride." I said as I was about to get out of the car.
"Wait!" I yelled. He stopped doing what he was doing and looked at me.
"Thanks for... listening to my story. I never really opened up to someone like that before." I smiled shyly.
'Stop sounding like a Pussy bitch.' I thought to myself.
"Ya no problem Amy." He smiled at me. "Thanks for listening to mine as well. I never tell anyone about it."
"Of course." I smiled, before closing the door and walking into my apartment.
I was met with a stern face in the doorway.
"We're going to the dojo." He said sternly.
We both walked out and headed to the dojo.
