Third Person POV
Lexi opened her sleepy eyes, blinking and trying to adjust them in the lighted room. Where was she? Whose room was she in?
Before she could think anything else, she saw a huge figure standing near a corner, he was wearing a business suit from what it looked from his back. She saw as he disappeared in the corner, maybe it was the walk-in closet, she thought.
When Stefan re-entered his room, their eyes connected, a small smile formed on his face, and Lexi suddenly remembered everything. She slept in Stefan's room last night.
"Good Morning, sunshine." He greeted warmly
"Good Morning." She whispered as she sat up on the bed, "Are you going somewhere?"
"Yes, I'm late for my office. You had to go to a dietician today, at eight a.m., which is now not possible, so you'll be leaving at one, with either Alex or Dad." He informed her, all the while picking his phone up from the charging point.
"Who sets an appointment at eight in the morning? Why don't you let the doctor rest for a while before bombarding him with patients? And why is it not possible to go at eight? And you already rescheduled the appointment? Geez, you guys are so fast." She spoke, her tone sleepy as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes
"Woah.... okay. For one, there was no appointment at eight, Alex and dad wanted to visit the dietician as soon as possible because they had several meetings in the day, and the sooner, the better. For two, being a doctor is his job, and his timings are set from eight in the morning, that is not our fault. For three, the time is ten twenty right now, so, of course, the plan to go at eight has now been canceled. And for four, as I said, there was no appointment in the first place, so we didn't have to reschedule anything." Stefan spoke
Lexi stared at him with slightly wide eyes as she nodded, "yeah, okay, got it."
"Now, get up, get ready and be down for breakfast fast." She stood up and did as told
When she was about to leave his room, she stooped and waved her hand at Stefan, "Bye."
"Bye, love, I'll see you in the evening."
---
After breakfast, she found herself sitting in her room, it was still eleven-forty-five, so she had some time before going to the dietician's place.
A small smile made her way on her lips as she remembered what happened after the prank...
Flashback
Everyone in the whole room, was shocked as they gazed at the two youngest family members, laughing without a break.
Greyson walked towards her, staring at her in anger, "YOU did this!?"
Lexi laughed, "I don't know. It's just, that was hilarious. And what did I do?"
"Oh, so you don't know what happened?" Greyson said, "well, how about I enlighten you with what happened, huh sweetheart?"
Lexi stared at him, it was the first time he spoke with her, referring to her with endearment, and it was not full of love, he was mocking her, wasn't he?
Kritton walked towards them with the box of Oreos in his hand and handed it over to Greyson. The latter then turned towards Jake and pointed in front of him, "Come here."
That was all Jake had to hear, all the amusement he felt vanished the moment he heard Greyson's cold tone.
When he was standing beside Lexi, Greyson forwarded the box towards them, "Eat it."
